LANDFORMS AND PHYSICAL FEATURES
It is the Kliuchevskói basalt near the east coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula in eastern Siberia, Russia. The Kliuchevskoy, symmetrical and covered with snow, is the highest and most active of a chain of volcanoes along Kamchatka. It was formed about 6000 years ago and since then has produced frequent explosive and effusive eruptions.
