A quantity of compressed air at 4-8 bar is released in a few milliseconds as a blast into the bin at the position of the blockage. The suddenly released energy frees the compacted material and the free flow of the material is restored. By firing air cannons in adjustable sequence by means of a sequential timer, blockages can be avoided and the full capacity of the hopper or bin utilised. SCREW THREAD INSERTS tainless steel screw thread inserts offered by Fastener Manufacturer are helically wound coils made out of diamondshaped high tensile 18-8 stainless steel wires. These inserts when installed inside a tapped hole, produce permanent precision internal threads, conforming to standard specifications; and in the process protect the parent thread from damage against shock, vibration, corrosion, stripping, etc. The inserts are specially suited for use in soft materials, like aluminium, cast iron and where often threads wear out fast. Other types of screw thread inserts, ie, screw-lock type, are self-locking type of inserts that provide locking feature by applying locking torque on the bolts, thus preventing from loosening due to vibration. The inserts in the form of coils, aligns with the parent threads, eliminating lead and angle error. The process of installation involves tapping with special taps, driving the insert with an inserting tool and breaking the tang from a V-notch provided at the bottom of the insert, using tang break-off tools.
