Through these platforms, we are able to carry out live cutting demonstrations that give visitors a better understanding of our thermal cutting technology. On top of that, our presence at industry exhibitions has increased the knowledge of our commitment to the local industry, so current and prospective partners and end-users can appreciate the support that is available to them.

Market for Metal Forming in India With rising metal consumption, we foresee that this trend is likely to continue. In order to flourish in the global marketplace, Indian companies will pay more attention to advances in metal cutting technology and new ways to achieve higher cut quality. These will enable them to increase productivity gains.

IMTEX 2012 Portfolio We hope to better inform IMTEX 2012 visitors about the benefits of using Hypertherm’s plasma cutting systems. Even though plasma offers a lot more value both qualitatively and quantitatively, oxyfuel is currently still the most widely adopted thermal cutting tool in India. Our live demonstrations will showcase the consistent cut quality produced by Hypertherm’s manual and mechanised systems. Also, we will present information on the productivity advantage that plasma has over oxyfuel. These benefits are enhanced with Hypertherm’s proprietary technologies— True Hole™ and Rapid Part™—that will also be introduced in detail to IMTEX attendees. News about the opening of Hypertherm’s first Indian office will also be shared at IMTEX 2012. We expect this announcement to reinforce our long-term commitment to the local market.

The main intention behind participating in the IMTEX 2012 exhibition is brand building. Although we are well known in our segment for our products, we wish to improve our brand recall and recognition in the industry. We do not want to be an option but, the priority in the industry.

Leveraging the Event The event can be a good learning ground for us to know more and learn more about the latest in the industry. It will also help us improve our knowledge base and help open doors for additional business opportunities.

Future of Metal Forming Industry The market is like an ocean. We wish to optimise our exposure at IMTEX and establish our brand among our counterparts.
