his year Festival of Globe- Silicon Valley, San Francisco, formerly known as Festival of India, will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary. Through film, culture, dance, and art we plan to be the largest festival that aims to engage global participation. Festival of Globe will provide participants, brands and audiences interacting with each other. Several events that take place during this festival have been recognizing the need for communities to work together for a larger good.

As a doctor of the heart, it gives me immense pride to say our platform continues to operate as a truly ORGANic ORGANization. From the volunteers up to our key administration, we all work as a family. As we are growing year by year, our glory is spreading into the film industries of countries like India, Fiji, Nepal and many others. We have participation from political leaders, tech honchos, film stars, investors, entrepreneurs and audiences of all interests. It is our extended vision to create a hub for global filmmakers and the influential HNIs and investors of Silicon Valley to collaborate and make great international cinema.

The week long festival packages films and performing arts from around the globe into a lively and intense celebration of the richness and diversity of cultures. Using Art & Culture as a common theme, FOG aims to serve as a unique catalyst for cultural osmosis and bring positive change within the communities. Each year the festival raises funds in support of various social issues faced by the diverse communities. Specific causes that are actively supported include youth development, elderly and senior care, ending hunger and homelessness and empowerment of women. For 2017, our main focus is Celebrate Diversity. The mission of FESTIVAL OF GLOBE - Silicon Valley has been to help communities better integrate with each other and unify for the greater purpose of the common good. Through a dazzling array of events around films, culture, dance and art, we plan to bring artists, audiences, social activists and investors on the same page to celebrate our present and commit to improving our future. OUR MAIN EVENTS TO GIVE EVERYONE AN EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME....... FOG MOVIE FEST FOG Movie Fest is a very unique festival, in the sense that it is much more than a celebration of good cinema. Whether you are a veteran or a newbie, FOG Movie fest welcomes you and encourages you to submit your work. You can rest assured that not only will your film touch a diverse crowd, but also you will be contributing to empowering disadvantaged people. Socially, this is a golden opportunity to hobnob with the glitterati from the tech, film, arts and philanthropy sectors and gorgeous people from different parts of the world. FOG AWARDS/RED CARPET In the last three years alone, a staggering number of shorts, documentaries, features and music videos from different countries such as the US, Mexico, China, Vietnam, India, Nepal, Iran, Fiji, Australia, the UK, the Philippines, Russia, Romania, Georgia and many more, have been screened. There are awards for screenplays that have not yet been taken up by any filmmaker, too. Actors, producers and directors from some of these nations lit up the red carpet and shared their thoughts on cinema and social issues during panel discussions.


FOG FASHION FEST Festival of Globe (FOG) Fashion Fest is a celebration of the art of couture. Well known designers from all over the world, who have put together collections for the runway, will be showcasing their work at this event. Prepare to be dazzled by unique ethnic outfits from different countries - an array of textiles, patterns, colors and intricate work that will transport you to a magical land. FOG SUMMIT-MEDIA, ENTERTAINMENT, SUSTAINABILITY - EMERGING TRENDS Through FOG Summit series we are sharing and imparting knowledge to one and all covering wide variety of topics like Healthcare, Media, Entertainment, Sustainability, Food, Social initiatives, Technology, Education. We invite thought leaders, visionaries, scientists and others as keynote speakers and panelists and create framework for positive social and cultural responsibility through Technology. FOG MUSIC FEST A mesmerizing confluence of international talent in performing arts. Top Global Artist will be participating and performing. FOG DANCE COMPETITION The Festival of Globe (FOG) Dance Competition is a grand celebration of the beautiful dance forms of the Indian subcontinent and other parts of the world. By the means of this platform, we hope to: • Provide thorough enjoyment to participants and audiences alike • Help youth imbibe their rich cultural heritage • Empower youth by encouraging their talent • Showcase the arts of different ethnicities to mainstream America, thus contributing the best parts of Indian and other cultures to mainstream American culture FOG HEALTH FAIR - FREE Free Health Fair run by over 100 Health Professionals not only screens for heart diseases, cancer, osteoporosis, eye problems , dental disorders and other diseases but also promotes slogan of sharing and caring. Many practicing doctors donate their time because this helps many seniors and many other community members who may not have regular insurance or are not able to make payments. FOG FOOD FEST FOG Food Festival is Bay Area's best known brand in Food shows and is focused towards facilitating growth & modernization of the industry by providing a platform for global vendors and sourcing professionals. INDIA DAY MELA/ FAIR - FREE This event is FREE. Two day fair with over 250 booths and exhibits on products, services, Arts, Crafts, Literature, Fashion and Designs will be held in Fremont on August 12th and 13th from 10 am to 7 pm. This is an excellent opportunity for you to advertise your business, since the event is promoted all over Bay area and attended by over 150,000 people all over the Bay. INDIA DAY PARADE - FREE Showcasing an exhibition of culture, creativity, reflections and traditions are the hallmarks of grand parade. Grand marshals riding more than 100 open cars along with over 50 colorful floats. The grand parade witnessed by over 150,000 people will be held in the City of Fremont on August 13th, 2017. Grand parade celebrates largest democracy of the World - India's Independence Day in United States of America, the oldest democracy of the world.

he Federation of Indian Associations is a Fremont based umbrella 501c(3) organization, NonProfit Tax id #770177823. It consists of over 40 member organizations. Over the last 24 years, The Federation has continued to work with its member organizations in working on various community based initiatives, and aspects of our community. The FIA has also proudly hosted the annual Festival of India & Parade for the last twenty three years. This event has continued to garner participants from all over Northern California, and has attracted luminaries and dignitaries from all over the world. The festival organizers have continued to organize this Festival which is intended to give our communities an opportunity to work together and present this Festival year after year. Every year, the attendance has grown and has allowed our communities, to get a better understanding of the culture, the arts, the music and foods of the Indian American community and allow our communities to further strengthen our bonds with each other. FIA's goal is to promote humanity with honesty, integrity, accountability and above all, abundant compassion and bring aid to those who need it the most. We pursue this goal by assisting with shelter, food, clothing, counseling, education and bringing

communities together. anoj Bajpayee (born 23 April 1969), also credited as Manoj Bajpai, is an Indian film actor who predominantly works in Hindi cinema and has also done Telugu and Tamil language films. He is the recipient of two National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. Bajpayee is often regarded as a method actor and a director's actor, and is known for his unconventional roles in films. Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has cited Bajpayee's performance in Aks as the inspiration for his role as the antagonist in Kick (2014).

aishree is an Indian actress who has acted in Tamil-language films in the 1980s. She was introduced by C. V. Sridhar in Thendrale Ennai Thodu opposite Mohan in 1985.She is the granddaughter of late Smt.S.Jayalakshmi, singer & actress, and is grand niece of globally renowned artist and painter SriS. Rajam & Veena Vidwan Padmabhushan S. Balachander, both her grandmother's brothers. On Christmas Day 2016, Jaishree's comeback film Manal Kayiru 2 (the sequel of the original 80s iconic hit) released in theaters internationally.

shwini Bhave (also spelled Ashvini Bhave) is an Indian model and actress known for her work in both Hindi and Marathi films and television serials. Bhave was first noticed on television in a Hindi Sci-Fi serial Antariksh. She later portrayed the lead heroine in Marathi films such as Dhadakebaaz, Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi and Kalat Nakalat opposite top Marathi movie stars like Laxmikant Berde, Ashok Saraf, Sachin and Vikram Gokhale.

Agnihotri made his directorial debut with Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets (2005). Vivek Agnihotri's political satire 'Buddha In A Traffic Jam,' which won the won the Best Original Screenplay in a foreign language award at the Madrid International Film Festival.

allavi Joshi is an Indian film and television actress. She is a recipient of Special Jury Award at the National Film Awards. Pallavi started performing on stage at an early age. She acted in films like Badla and Aadmi Sadak Ka as a child artiste.

asbir Singh Bains, better known by his stage name Jasbir Jassi (Punjabi: is a Punjabi singer, lyricist, performer and actor. As of 2016 he has released thirteen albums, his first pop album being Dil Le Gayee, released in 1998 with Times Music. In 2011, His first film in a lead role, 'Khushiyaan', was released. He was trained by N.K. Sharma and a few others. He has also appeared in some Punjabi films including Heer Ranjha.

In past years, we have had super stars from Bollywood like Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Shatrughan Sinha as Grand Marshals. This year, celebrities from Hollywood, Bollywood and rest of the Globe will be Grand Marshals riding more than 100 open cars along with over 50 colorful floats. The cultural segment of festival includes more than 100 dance groups showcasing their talents. Two day Fair with over 200 booths depicts and exhibits Art, Crafts, Ethnic Dresses, Literature, Fashions and Designs. Food Fest is the most popular place not only to enjoy delicious cuisine but also to network and socialize. Cultural and Music Fest runs around the clock with over 1000 youngsters participating. Free Health Fair run by over 100 Health Professionals not only screens for heart diseases, cancer, osteoporosis, eye problems, dental disorders and other diseases but also promotes slogan of sharing and caring.

aranasi, also renowned as Kashi and Banaras, is lo cated in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The holy city, believed to have been founded by Lord Shiva about 5000 years ago is placed picturesquely on the west bank of Holy Ganges River and is one of the most revered religious destinations in India. Varanasi derives its name from the two rivers Varuna located at the north and Assi located at the south of the city. Varanasi is mentioned in the holy epics Ramayana and Mahabharata and varieties of tour packages are available. The importance of Varanasi (Kashi) lies in the religious belief that those who die in the area in the Kashi city bounded by the Panch Kashi Road will attain salvation. The city is thronged by thousands of Hindu devotees every day throughout the year. Any Hindu believer in the country and abroad is a devout aspirant of visiting Kashi at least once in life time. Varanasi is also renowned as a place for performing last rites for believers and the mortal remains are immersed in the water of Ganges. Many people like to spend their fag end of life in this

holy city with the belief of attaining salvation here. Varanasi is also famed as a centre of silk weaving and pure silk apparels. The Paan, mixture of betel leaves, arecanut, tobacco and lime, is a favorite chewing item in Varanasi. The place is enriched with many ancient temples like Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Kal Bhairava temple, Durga Kund, and Annapoorna temple. Varanasi is a prime centre of art, craft, education and culture. Buddha, Mahavira, Adi Shankaracharya and Acharya Ramanuja are among those who spent lots of their lifetime on the banks of Ganges i n Kashi.
