With the pandemic bringing forward a global lockdown, the environment set out on a journey of self-healing. As humanity confined, nature began to flourish and thrive, subsequently, people experienced a newfound appreciation for the beauty and peace it brought about, this was the precise inspiration for Nuances of Nature. An amalgam between bold, vibrant colors and playful geometric cutouts, Double A’s designs are both youthful and fearless.

Leather being the family business, Double A has a firm grasp on its potential, using the finest natural leather to debunk and revolutionize the notion that leather is a winter fabric. Double A uses innovative techniques to ensure their garments are both edgy and elegant, while still remaining practical and comfortable. This SS’21 collection is designed with no inner lining, making the pieces more lightweight and summer appropriate.

Believing that leather is the embodiment of a powerful and independent woman, Double A designs garments that exude effortless femininity and confidence. The latest collection utilizes key archival pieces that are reinterpreted using rich colors, like imperial gold, oranges, blues, greens, and a variation of pinks. Nuances of Nature is inspired by the uneven motions of nature, palm tree leaflets, waves, and elements that create twisted yet sophisticated curves and patterns, it is a testament to Double A’s innovativity and aptitude. Resembling a gladiator’s armour, the Ayla vest is strikingly unique and empowering, where the Chrome vest fuses between edgy punk and feminine grace. Each Double A design is made to be a statement piece.

With nature in mind, Double A aims to prioritize the environment in its production course, creating a waste minimization initiative by using leftover leather cutouts and giving them a second life. Through the ‘Chrome Bag’, available in this collection, Double A works to be a zerowaste brand.
