Mark Van Der Loo is a Dutch model and an occasional actor. One of the most prominent models of the 90s and 00s, Mark was born in Waddinveen, Holland and studied History at the University of Amsterdam, graduating in 1999. He began his modelling career in 1990. He has walked the most influential catwalks of the world such as Milan, Paris and New York, and has modelled in publicity campaigns for Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Armani, Valentino, Donna Karan… As an actor, he was involved in Woody Allen’s film ‘Celebrity’. He later appeared in the Spanish TV series ‘Javier ya no vive solo’ by Emilio Aragón and in 2011, he had a part in the short film ‘The Tale of a Fairy’ by designer Karl Lagerfeld. He has visited Ibiza regularly since 1993 and acquired his first house on the island in 2003. He has worked as a model all over the world since 1991 but whilst he has been in many beautiful places, for him, nothing is quite like Ibiza. The island has now become his second home.

Licenciada en Periodismo, trabaja como Directora en el grupo Condé Nast desde hace veinte años. Dentro del grupo, anteriormente, trabajó como directora de la revista masculina GQ. Más tarde, como directora editorial de los títulos de Condé Nast en Latinoamérica, con sede en Miami para controlar y pontenciar todas las publicaciones en habla hispana. Actualmente, y desde 2006 dirige Condé Nast Traveler, revista de viajes de lujo y estilo de vida. La revista, Condé Nast Traveler, ha ganado 25 National Magazine Adwards y es reconocida alrededor del mundo por su política de veracidad en los viajes, lo que la convierte en la guía independiente más confiable del mercado.

The Fomento del Turismo of the island of Ibiza is an association arising from the initiative of a group of visionary people, who, in 1933, set out to encourage, promote and develop the emerging tourist industry on the island. During this time, the association has been actively involved in the successive changes that our island has been experiencing through the tourism industry. At present, our institution is composed of hoteliers, representatives of different social sectors and individuals, whose contributions help to fund the operating costs of the association. The association works hard to provide a forum for open debate and business collaboration, stimulating the association of professionals, workers, businesses and organizations of all economic and social sectors of our island, to work together to make Ibiza a quality destination.
Fomento del Turismo de la Isla de Ibiza es una asociación que surge de la iniciativa de un grupo de personas con visión de futuro, que en el año 1933, se propusieron estimular, promocionar y desarrollar la incipiente industria turística de aquel momento en la isla. Durante todo este tiempo, Fomento ha participado activamente en los sucesivos cambios que nuestra isla ha ido experimentando a través del Turismo. En la actualidad nuestra institución la forman desde hoteleros a representantes de los distintos sectores sociales, así como particulares, con cuyas aportaciones se financian los costes operativos de la asociación.
