This is limited by the element and is the same for all units. If the recovery rate is likely to be insufficient you should consider more than one unit.

The Microboil is an advanced microprocessor controlled solution to the provision of boiling water for hot drinks in the workplace. It is available in sizes ranging from 2 to 16 Litres (12 to 100 cups).

Microboil Accessories

Sophisticated electronics make sure that all Microboil units will automatically supply boiling water 24 hours a day, 365 days a year – even when the unit is automatically re-filling after heavy usage.

A filter system can be fitted with the Microboil boiling water unit to protect against lime-scale build up, reduce service costs and extend product life. The Microboil Filter System is easy to connect to existing pipework with 15mm inlet and outlet connections. A simple snap-fit cartridge can easily be replaced when required. Please contact our sales team to establish whether this system is suitable for your water quality.

It is recommended that filters should be changed approximately every six months based on water quality and flow characteristics.

EVERLAST DIRECT/INDIRECT UNVENTED WATER HEATERS (SPECIAL DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS APPLY) Technical Data The Everlast is a large capacity unvented water heater suitable for small flats and houses or much larger requirements such as hotels, sports centres or nursing homes. For circumstances where high draw offs are required it is possible to link Everlast units together to give combined capabilities.

As both hot and cold water comes direct from the mains the Everlast can be sited in any location on any floor of the property. Try to keep pipe runs as short as possible for maximum economy. The unit can be fitted into a conventional airing cupboard and does not require any extra insulation. In addition, when in use, it will not be hot to touch.

The Everlast’s lightweight design, flexible positioning, low maintenance and simpler plumbing requirements make it advantageous for both installers and specifiers. The ease and speed of installation is also significantly increased by the use of push fit connections which saves labour time and cost.

The Everlast comes with a 25 year cylinder guarantee and a 5 year guarantee on the controls.

The Handyflow is a simple to install traditional vented over sink water heater. With a neat design and supplied complete with tap and spout, the Handyflow offers an effective, practical solution whenever time and simplicity are the key priorities. The Handyflow incorporates a thermal cut-out that can be re-set rather than requiring to be replaced. The unit simply needs to be switched off and it will automatically re-set itself. This feature is particularly useful when the heater is likely to be drained frequently (e.g. when fitted in Portable Buildings).

Undersink vented units are attractive because installation is very simple and no specialist accessories are needed. The Handyflow Slimline vented under sink water heater retains the ease of installation of traditional vented over sink equivalents but has the additional benefits of being hidden below the sink giving less visual impact and including a vented mixer tap rather than a spout and cold water tap. It is now available in either a 5 litre or 10 litre capacity.

The fact that the Handyflow Vented Undersink comes as a complete package and the user does not need to purchase a separate cold tap makes it an economic alternative to the Handyflow Vented Oversink.

The Handyflow Slimline features a slimline profile with a depth of only 7” (180mm). It is available in the popular 5 Litre capacity.

The vented mixer tap supplied with the water heater comes with flexible hose for ease of installation and can be purchased separately if required. Wall brackets are included with the 5 litre model - the 10 litre model is free standing only.

Undersink Handyflow Vented - 5L

It is normal for the vented hot water tap to drip slightly during the heating cycle, caused by the water expanding as it heats up.

As with all units of this type, cold water entering from the inlet valve displaces the hot water stored in the tank. It is normal for the spout on this type of unit to drip slightly during the heating cycle, caused by the water expanding as it heats up. Over-tightening the tap will not stop the dripping and may result in damage.

The Apollo is ideal for commercial and industrial premises for washing up, hand washing and similar applications on a regular basis. Unlike mains pressure units, no special controls are needed.

Flow rates are height determined and this unit needs to be wall mounted at the highest level. Hand Dryers Stainless steel and chrome finishes are becoming increasingly popular for hand dryers as they combine a modern look with long term durability.

The Cyclone 1.8kW and Cyclone 2.2kW are available in a satin chrome finish. Both these units are available with automatic hands free operation.

Hyco hair dryers are designed for hotel and similar light commercial applications. The wall mounted hair dryers feature automatic start/ stop and include a timer which will stop the dryer if the nozzle has not been replaced after use. The cases are white drip proof ABS and incorporate a shaver socket.

The Tornado high performance hand dryer is available in brushed satin chrome with automatic operation.

The Holster-style hair dryer features a 1.3kW element, safety cutout device and wall mounted base. A spring loaded start switch protects the dryer from unintentional operation, and the heat output can be varied between 350W and 1300W in three stages.

All these dryers share the same performance and suitability characteristics as their non-stainless equivalents.

Sun Prince Quartz

Choose the nearest figure to the application of work undertaken and premises type, and multiply this by the total floor area in m².

This will give you an idea of the total amount of wattage required for heating the area.

Halogen Infra Red Heaters Hyco Sun Prince Infra Red heaters utilise quartz halogen lamps that operate at a very high temperature, converting almost all the electrical energy into short wavelength infra red radiation. They are therefore ideal for heating applications in draughty or tall buildings such as garages, warehouses, factories and similar difficult-to-heat situations where convection heating would be impractical.

NEW SUN KING QUARTZ

The Sun Prince features ruby or gold low glare lamps depending on the model purchased. The 1.0kW, 2kW, 4kW and 6kW models feature gold lamps as standard. The 1.5kW, 3kW and 4.5kW models feature ruby lamps as standard but are available with gold lamps at an additional cost.

OUTDOOR INFRA RED HEATERS The Sun King weatherproof outdoor heater is ideal for heating outdoor domestic and commercial applications. It contains quartz halogen infra red lamps that operate at a very high temperature and is suitable for patios, beer gardens and outdoor smoking areas.

Lamps are made from high temperature resistant quartz glass that must not be handled with bare hands. Lamps last an average of 7,000 hours and are excluded from the guarantee.

Heaters may be mounted from the ceiling but in all cases (wall or ceiling mounted) must be angled at least 45 degrees from the horizontal to avoid over heating.
