AAAEA’s Scholarship Awards On October 14, 2015, Arab American Association of Engineers and Architects (AAAEA) celebrated the 19th years of service, Chicago Annual Meeting. The evening’s Master of Ceremonies was Mr. Khaled ElKhatib, special keynote speakers Randall S. Blankenhorn, special guest Paul Kovacs, also the President of AAAEA, Anas Alkhati spoken about the AAAEA and their mission. AAAEA has awarded 21 students for Illinois 2015 Scholarship Awards.

Al- Nahda’s Monthly Inspiration Event On October 18, 2015, Al Nahda held their first monthly inspirational event featuring a discussion with Father Malek from St. Mary Orthodox Church and Sheikh Mohamed Elimam from Chicago Islamic Center on religion and unity. Many Middle Eastern in the community attended the event and brought support to the Middle Eastern Community,
Al-Nahda’s event was bringing the individuals together and promote healthy, non-discriminatory dialogue with all religions to learn, grow and build a better community for generations to come.
