Crotch has an outstanding record, having been the only student t o flunk o u t of nine of W r y - R i d d l e ' s Academic, f l i g h t , and maintenance programs. Getting off to a slow s t a r t Ezra showed up f o r h i s f i r s t c l a s s i n 1966 i n M i a m i , only t o be infonned t h a t t h e school had been moved t o Daytona about a year e a r l i e r . F i n a l l y he a r r i v e d i n Daytona and spent s i x months drinking coffee i n t h e student center before he was t o l d t h a t he would have t o go to c l a s s i f he expected t o graduate. After having studied problems i n j u s t about every curriculum, Ezra switched t o t h e private pilot flight corse from which he w i l l r e c e i v e a Jepessen diploma a t convocation. The Vets volleyball team, the "Vets", (try to write that and make sense), lost their first round of volleyball two games to one last Wed.. the second of February. The main reason for 10sing is that they were playing one man short. Actually, a -couple of the guys are short, what I really mean is they were minus one player. The officers of the club (they are the ones that sit up front . . during meetings), have decided thac- the Vet's club shouldn't be losing games, so to help alleiate the shortage of players problem, a bulletin board has been put up next to the Used Book Store. On t k bulletin board there are three lists: onc will get you on the volleyball team, which needs help. The second one will get you on the softball team w h i c h w i l l probably need help. The third will get you on the tour of Cape Kennedy scheduled for Saturday, February 26th at a time that will be announced.
