Page 1

JANUARY 2023 Come check out our school Showcaseduring on Feb 8th . 6-8 p.m.

Greetings!

It is with great hope and excitement for the new year, and second semester here on campus, that I write to you today.

Planning for the 2023-24 school year is underway, and we are super excited to share all of the great things happening at HUHS at our annual Showcase scheduled for Wednesday, February 8 from 6pm-8pm. Please consider joining us to see for yourself!

We are proud to announce that Introduction to Aviation and Aerospace has been approved as a new course for students during the 2023-24 school year. A number of our students have participated in building an airplane the past couple of years through the Kettle Moraine Aviation Club and we are hopeful that this new course will assist those in following a career pathway in aviation.

Thank you to community residents, incumbent Ms. Tracy Hennes and Mr. Nolan Jackett, who are interested in serving on our school board and will appear on the April 4, 2023 ballot. Please visit https://www.huhs.org/district/meet-the-candidates.cfm to learn more about the two candidates who will vie for the one spot on the HUHS board.

It is my pleasure to serve the Hartford Union High School District, and I look forward to connecting with you at the many events happening across our district’s 225 square miles. Please send me an email at jeff.walters@huhs.org, or give me a call at (262) 6703200, ext. 4010 should you have any feedback or questions about what is happening in our district.

Go Orioles!

Sincerely,

Jeffrey A. Walters Superintendent Hartford Union High School District Don Pridemore Ross Kirley James Gumm Craig Wesall Tracy Hennes HUHS Board of Education Jeffrey Walters
