High end art gallery/cultural space Mana Contemporary opened near Journal Square in Jersey City in May. The one million square foot space hopes to be a multi-dimensional art center that will serve several functions for artists, art patrons, collectors, and the community. Pat DeFerrari and Michael Griffo are members of the Secaucus theater group CAST. DeFerrari was one of the executive producers along with Joan Kashuba of ‘The Show Must Go On.’ Griffo wrote and directed it.

Hoboken’s St. Patrick’s Day parade took place on a Saturday last March, luring thousands of revelers. To lessen the party atmosphere, it will be held on a weekday this year.

West New York artist Antony Sable donated a drawing of Mayor Felix Roque in September that now hangs in Town Hall.
