Jamboree Joy in Deepest Dorset Hampshire turns out in force to celebrate the world of Scouting!

Welcome to your special extended picture edition, capturing the essence of H0014. Our camp has been built on a spirit of adventure and cooperation. The friendly atmosphere mixed with a fantastic range of new and exciting experiences has forged memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. Shout Out To...  Happy Birthday to Skip of the 10th Farnborough. The Scouts don’t know how old he is but they guessed at 90!! st

 Louise, Akela at the 1 Warsash, who was so excited to see her first ever meteor on Tuesday night that she nearly woke up her Cubs!  Phoenix Sea Dragons ESU who have started a ‘pegdemic’. They have flooded the camp with 100 special pegs. The challenge is to clip up to 3 pegs on to a leader without them noticing.  8th Aldershot Scout Group. The 1st Swanmore would like a say a HUGE thank you for lending them their tents.  The children from Hambledon Village and 2nd Waterlooville Scout groups. These 2 groups have been merged for this camp and their leaders are so proud of their amazing behaviour. Well done!  Belated happy birthday to Bradley George (1st Purbrook Scouts) and Connor Norris (1st Warsash Seascouts) who were both 14 yesterday. Sorry to have missed your shout out!  Fiona Peacock, James Perry and Toby Golding who were invested on Brownsea Island on Tuesday. Congrats!  Abby Humphrey of 6th New Forest North Netley Marsh Scouts for smashing the crate stacking record with a knee knocking 21 crates, ably assisted by Katelyn Wort. Can you top that?  Caleb Heather of 17th West Lothian was invested on Tuesday on Brownsea Island and was the 1st to receive a new style necker!  Jack, Max, Ross, Bertie, Luke & Harvey of the 8th Eastleigh Scouts for winning the HSX Antarctica relay. Next stop... the South Pole!
