FALL SHOWCA SE Reception: Friday, September 7, 6-8 pm InSight Gallery will kick off the fall show season with all new work from our renowned group of gallery artists with a focus on wildlife painter Lindsay Scott. Ms. Scott is honored in the September issue of Western Art Collector with a feature article written by the Autry Museum’s very own John Geraghty. “My greatest reward in life has been to be able to make a living doing something I have been passionate about for all these years, it is a real blessing. With all my work I really hope that along the way I may have helped

someone appreciate the beauty and fragility of nature.” In addition to the fabulous new works from the some of the country’s leading artists, a select group of talented artists has been invited to show their work for the first time in the Texas Hill Country in our Annual Fall Show. G. Rusell Case, Carole Cooke, Mikel Donahue, Francois Koch, Dean Mitchell, T’Sin Yao and Xiang Zhang will all exhibit two new paintings during the event. These talented artists will add yet another dimension to the already exciting group of new work. There are many reasons to visit Fredericksburg this fall including an expansive and thriving art community, wineries, top notch restaurants, numerous musical and theatrical shows, a shopping district and national museums including the Nimitz Museum and the LBJ Park. We hope that your schedule will allow for a visit to Fredericksburg and InSight Gallery.

States from St. Petersburg, Russia twenty years ago. Theirs is an American success story and we are proud to host a show with over 20 new works from these two classically trained artists. Arriving in the US in 1992, Aleksander had $25 in his pocket, new ideas, a different perspecitve on life and art, and some canvases he and Lyuba had brought with them. They worked odd jobs and continued to paint when the time allowed. As they persevered, their ability to focus more on their art grew. Today, they are both full time painters with numerous accolades and awards. Their work has been shown throughout the US and has become part of collections throughout the world including the national portrait gallery in Washington DC with his painting of Laura Bush.

e are very excited about our upcoming group of shows for the fall of 2012. The group show in September is shaping up to be one of the very best collections of new works from our outstanding group of artists. It is an honor to have such great works hanging on our walls and we hope you have the opportunity to come and see it in person. When we began the gallery just three short years ago we had a vision of a gallery with 50 gifted artists with a diversity of subject matter and approach. We believed that if the quality was an inherent part of the painting or sculpture that we could offer our collectors a select group of art that would appeal to a broad range of aesthetics. When we look at the Fall Showcase, the focus on Lindsay Scott and her incredible wildlife paintings along with the elite group of guest artists that will be sending work to InSight Gallery for the first time, we feel like our ideal has been met. We hope to see you Friday, September 7 as we kick off our fall season with elegant appetizers, award winning wines and genuine Texas hospitality.
