The horse business has grown a lot over the years and has become one of the most popular businesses in many countries, especially in Iceland. Many horses are sold to other countries from Iceland every year and there are more Icelandic horses around the world than in Iceland. The magazine is also a great guide for people wanting to start their own horse business. This word has a broader meaning, which encompasses all activity by suppliers of goods and services. The goal is for sales to be more than expenditures resulting in a profit. The main form of business and how they works. • Sole proprietorship is owned by one person and operates for their benefit. The owner may operate the business alone or with other people. A sole proprietor has unlimited liability for all obligations incurred by the business, whether from operating costs or judgements against the business. • Partnership is a business owned by two or more people. In most forms of partnerships, each partner has unlimited liability for the debts incurred by the business. • Corporation the owners have limited liability and the business has a separate legal personality from its owners. Corporations can be either government-owned or privately owned. They can organize either for profit or as not-for-profit organizations. • Co-op is a shorter name for cooperative and has a limited liability business that can organize for-profit or not-for-profit. A cooperative differs from a corporation in that it has members, not shareholders, and they share decision-making authority. Business are subject of business studies and economics. In most universities, the degree is conferred upon a student after four years of full-time study in one or more areas of business concentrations. The BBA program usually includes general business courses and advanced courses for specific concentrations. General education requirements emphasize humanities and social sciences (history, economics, and literature). Coverage of mathematics is generally business related. I choose business because in the first place, it’s the course that I’m studying in school, business have a broad meaning and have many interesting things to learn. Secondly, with business degree it’s not hard to find a job, and also to make your own business. I like reading news about business or economics, and here is one of them.

Steven Paul Jobs was born in 24th February 1955 in San Francisco. American entrepreneur, widely regarded as the pioneer era of IT-technologies. One of the founders, chairman and CEO of the corporation Apple. One of the founders and CEO of the studio Pixar. In the late 1970s, Steve and his friend Steve Wozniak developed one of the first personal computers have a great commercial potential. Bill Gates was born in 28th October 1955 in America. Bill Gates is American business magnate, philanthropist, investor, computer programmer and inventor. Former biggest shareholder of Microsoft. The Icelandic horse Over the years, the Icelandic horse has served an important role as a working animal and transport to people. In recent years, he has gained a lot of popularity where

activity. The Icelandic horse breed is originally from the Mongolian horse breed but has developed in its own unique way. The Vikings brought them to Iceland 1000 years ago. The Icelandic horse is strong, healthy, and friendly. He has great stamina and strong nerves which many horses don’t have. He is also known for being sure-footed. Commonly the Icelandic horses reach 25 to 27 years, but they can get over 30 years old. Although the horse isn’t big, he is not a pony. Icelandic law prevents horses from being imported into the country and horses that have been exported from the country are not allowed to come back to Iceland. The Icelandic horse has five gaits. The typical walk, trot and canter which are common in other breeds. Then they have in addition tölt and pace which is not common in other breeds. Tölt is generally known for how soft it is and how easy it is to ride it. It’s also known for how fast a horse can tölt, but he can tölt from slow tempo to almost as fast as a galloping horse. Pace is a very fast gait and is usually used in races. It’s also called the flying pace because the horse goes so fast that in one point the horse doesn’t touch the ground. The Icelandic horse is used in farm work, showing, competing and racing. Although racing isn’t as popular as in other counties because we are not allowed to place bets on a race. The Icelandic horse has 40 colors and 100 variations. Schools in Iceland that offer further education in horses are the Universities Hólar and Hvanneyri but you have to finish college education before you can got to these schools. Then we have at least two colleges that offer horse studies, Fjölbrautaskóli Suðurlands and Framhaldsskólinn í Mosfellsbæ.

The reason why I chose this subject was because I grew up with horses and the have been with me my intire life. I find the very interesting and fun creatures. They are also amazing characters and each horse is unique in his own way. They are quick learners and really fun to work with. I’m really thankful to have horses as a part of my daily life.

Primarily known for having saved some horses when the ice broke from a group of horses in Ice tölt several years ago. General The Icelandic displays two gaits in addition to the typical gaits other breeds. The only breed of horse in Iceland, they are also popular internationally, and sizable populations exist in Europe and North America. The Icelandic horse was first used for work, but now its more used for competing, riding and breeding.


Today there are about 80.000 horses on Iceland, which is quite a lot for a country who only has around 300.000 people. 10.000 people are registered in to a riding clubs, but over 30.000 people in Iceland are in horse business. Horse business is when you are selling, breeding and training horses in order to get the best possible result of a horse you want. It´s supposed to add to the breed of Icelandic horses to make the breed better. Breeding show is a show where u show your horse and all of his gaits to judges who then rate every single gait the horse has, the desire and beauty while riding and his looks (hoofs, back, neck and more). This is done to guide the breeder, if the horse gets good ratings then the owner/ breeder is doing a good job, if not he can see what he needs to fx. I would very much like to become a horse breeder and rider when I grow up. I love horses and they and everything about them fascinates me. When you are riding a horse its like you´re his mentor but in the same time he is yours. I know own 4 horses which I have breed with the help from my parents, but they are both horse breeders and own quite a large horse breeding farm.
