The parade will start at the Texas Southern University Gym (at the corner of Wheeler and Ennis) at 10:00 A.M. and proceed to the Emancipation Celebration Music Festival at Project Row Houses. DETAILS: This event is FREE TO ...Bands, Drumlines, Dance Groups, Cheer & Step Teams, etc…, and walking families, Strollers, wheelchairs, Handicapped, Non-motorized Bikes & Tricycles, etc…OTHERS, such as Motorcycles: $10:00 dollars each, Walking Non-Profits and Clubs: $25:00 dollars each, Cars, Vans and Trucks: $50:00 dollars each, and Corporate Sponsors and Floats: $150 each. The theme for this year is: “The Colors of Freedom!”
