Slow-grown, tight-grained wood is an exceptional material. It has made it possible to build healthy, safe and durable homes. QUALITY OF DESIGN AND PRODUCTS, EFFICIENCY AND THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY Honkamajat is renowned for prompt deliveries and excellent quality, based on the close-grained wood which has grown in northern conditions. Other characteristics of the company are customer-centric design, good workmanship, qualified personnel and reliable cooperation partners. High-quality and efficient production requires both modern planning software and CAD/CAM controlled production equipment. A log house from Honkamajat is individual and customized for your needs. Honkamajat has over 60 log profiles. Log thicknesses vary from 45mm to 250mm. We can also offer so called non-settling log wall structures.
The versatile corner solutions and careful structural planning ensure the desired architectural appearance and excellent tightness of the log walls. Honkamajat timber structures have gained outstanding test results. A 180mm log wall fulfills the Finnish energy efficiency regulations for detached houses. For holiday houses the equivalent requirement is 135mm.
