H i! I’m Molly, the design coordinator behind Honest Abe Log Home’s new interior design division, Cooper & Co. I am from the great state of Tennessee and grew up about 10 miles from Honest Abe Log Homes headquarters. I am married to my wonderful husband Kendall and we are blessed to have two boys, Whitt and Wyatt. I always knew of this great company because my dad ran a dry in labor crew building Honest Abe homes for over 15 years. I have been around construction most all of my life and I believe that is where I got my love of design and seeing a project through. My dad taught me to look beyond the plans and see a finished product long before any construction had ever started. I broadened the lessons I learned from him by obtaining my interior design degree and have spent the past 5 years in the profession. I whole heartily believe that everyone should design the home they want now, don’t wait to live your dream. Honest Abe strives to make your dream of log home living a reality,

The Process To understand the project at hand, we offer a one-hour complimentary initial consultation on at your home. A look into your space will help me understand the lighting, and other basics that should be considered for the design plan. Your need for each space along with any existing furnishings that should be included in the plan will also be determined. We will also take photos and measurements of the space in order to create the best design options for you. Throughout the initial consultation, both style and a budget are agreed upon. We will schedule a follow-up presentation day and get to work on your dream design where I will present all finish selections to you with your style, functionality and budget in mind. Together, we will discuss and make any furnishings, finishes or other adjustments to make your house your home. Then the fun will begin, as my team and I will install your approved design and you can begin showing it off to all your friends and family and truly enjoy a dream of yours come to life.
