NY NOW® HOME Collection Brings 1,200+ Home Suppliers to Javits Center Home categories are coming together in a dynamic new way this summer as part of the debut of NY NOW®, the Market for Home & Lifestyle (formerly NYIGF®). NY NOW HOME – one of the show’s four broad collections – will showcase an unparalleled breadth and depth of 1,200+ home accents suppliers, together in one easy-to-navigate location on Level 3 of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Two broad categories of merchandise will be presented under the NY NOW HOME umbrella: Home Furnishings + Textiles and Tabletop + Gourmet Housewares. NY NOW HOME also will encompass Accent on Design® and its juried collection of contemporary design home and lifestyle resources. “NY NOW HOME unifies all of the market’s home products, which in previous years were presented in different locations throughout the market, into one cohesive and comprehensive collection,” says Christian Falkenberg, NY NOW director and GLM senior vice president . “Buyers will find a beautifully merchandised exhibit floor, offering some of the best brands in the home industry, in one easy-to-shop location.”

Home Furnishings + Textiles offers a full range of decorative accessories, home textiles and furniture. The section will feature both traditional and contemporary designs and vary in price point. These home accent suppliers will flow into the Tabletop + Gourmet Housewares section, featuring a wide array of home textiles for kitchen and dining, home entertaining resources, specialty tabletop and gourmet kitchenware. Several design- driven gourmet suppliers will serve as a bridge between this exhibition area and Accent on Design®, industry’s standard-setter for contemporary design. NY NOW, the Market for Home & Lifestyle will run Saturday, August 17, through Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and Passenger Ship Terminal 94.
