Elizabeth’s Cloth Collection
Our Elizabeth’s Cloth Collection is handwoven in our Indian production center by craftsmen who decend from a tradition that is centuries old. Many of the designs have originated from our 40+ years of handweaving which we continue today in our Norwalk, CT Studio. Our Elizabeth’s Cloth rugs are incredibly durrable and perfect for active households, offered at a great pricepoint and with a quick leadtime.

Flatweaves Our 100% wool Flatweaves are incredibly durable, completely reversible and offered at a budget-friendly pricepoint, making them a home-run for active households. We like to present them as an elevated, durable and cleanable alternative to the typical sisal or broadloom. Patterns range from simple striès and subtle stripes, to bold large-scale plaids strong enough to design an entire room around. Our Flatweaves are easily customizable in pattern, color and scale, and are finished with a solid or striped handsewn whipstitch.

Classic Weaves Our Elizabeth’s Cloth Classic Weave Rugs offer a wide range of patterns in an incredibly soft and durable construction, perfect for high-traffic, active households. These rugs are completely customizable in design, scale and color, finished with a hand-sewn whipstitch, and most designs are completely reversible. All sampling is shown in our A-quality 100% New Zealand Wool, but most designs can be woven in our B-quality Indian Wool to help meet budget requirements.

Complex Dhurries Our Elizabeth’s Cloth Complex Dhurries combine an intricate dhurrie construction with a playful design sensibility, resulting in a collection that is rooted in history but feel’s fresh for today’s interiors. They are tightly woven in an incredibly soft New Zealand Wool, and perfect for active households. These rugs are easily customizeable in design, scale and color, and the weave structure allows for optimal flexibility in recreating historical designs or developing a completely custom rug based on a client’s sketch. The possibilities are endless!
