COURSE REQUIREMENTS: End of Rotation Exam To assess comprehensive knowledge of each required clerkship discipline, a 120-question multiple choice examination is given at the end of each rotation. The end of rotation examinations are offered by the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) and developed by PA educators for use during the clinical year. These peer-reviewed exams incorporate current, relevant test items that follow the NCCPA tasks and blueprints (http://www.nccpa.net/ExamsContentBlueprint) and corresponding PAEA blueprints and topic lists (http://www.paeaonline.org/index.php?ht=d/sp/i/140844/pid/140844). These end-of-rotation examinations have the same format as the PANCE exam, and are good preparation for successfully passing the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE). In order to pass the examinations, a student must receive a grade of no less than 65%. Scores will be emailed to you on call back day from PAEA. Enclosed in the email from PAEA will be exam feedback for your review. No student is permitted to take the day off before call back day in order to study or complete assignments. If the clinical coordinator is informed that such an unexcused absence occurred, the student will receive ten (10) points off final grade for the rotation. 34
