Meet "1106" - the newest ambulance to join the Pocono Mountain Regional EMS fleet!

This isn't just ANY ambulance... It's a state-of-the-art 2023 Ford F-450 4x4, transformed into a lifesaving machine by Braun Ambulances, and it's all thanks to the fantastic team at Glick Fire Equipment Company Safety isn't just a word for us; it's a COMMITMENT to our patients and staff. Some of the key safety features of this unit include:

Brian O’Shea

Paramedic Brian O’Shea is a Shift Supervisor at Pocono Mountain Regional EMS. He joined PMREMS in May 2022 and was recently promoted to his current role in November 2023.

Brian began his EMS career in 2012. After spending 24 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry in both Marketing and Sales on various brands; he decided to change caree as he desired to have a more direct and positive impact on patient care.

Brian grew up in Succassuna, NJ and attended Roxbury High School. He hold a degree in Business Administration from Montclair State University and MBA in Marketing and Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University

Since being in EMS, Brian has earned ProBoard FF II, EMT, AEMT and his Paramedic credentials in April 2015. Prior to joining PMREMS, he was a Captain at Plymouth Community Ambulance in Norristown, PA

Brian enjoys the outdoors, motorcycle touring and camping. He resides in Cresco PA with his wife and 2 children.

Pocono Mountain Regional EMS Shift Supervisor Jack Wilson began his career in 2008 by attending the EMT program at Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport in 2008. He began working on an ambulance and quickly realized that he wanted to further his education and make a career out of EMS.

In 2013, Jack attended Harrisburg Area Community College and obtained a certification as a Nationally Registered Paramedic. Since then, he worked full-time in EMS as a paramedic in various field and managerial roles throughout the past 10 years working for both Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg and at UPMC Community Life Team in Harrisburg.

“ I’m always striving to better myself and have since completed both my Associate's a nd most recently my Bachelor's degree in EMS Administration, from Columbia Southern University,” he shares adding, “I take every advantage to better myself and don't pass up an opportunity to learn. I have a strong passion for the EMS field and there is no other career I would rather be working in.”

Jack currently resides in Old Forge and enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family. He considers PMREMS extremely welcoming since his onboarding last year, and has been the most enjoyable employment to date. Looking to the future, he hopes to continue to advance his career within the organization and give back what it has given to him.
