Greenscaper Hotel This project is developed through the integration of different types of users and the creation of a new hyprid environment that is variegated, sustainable and affordable. The building becomes a complex system composed of public and private e l e m e n t s - t h e h o t e l t o w e r, t h e r e s i d e n t i a l b l o c k , the community center and the vertical park. Each identity is strongly defined and their interconnect i o n c r e a t e a n e w l a y e r o f i d e n t i t y. T h e r e f o r e , i t proposes a hyprid typology that not only revitalizes neglected urban areas but also creates a new way of addressing the built landscape and the hot e l t y p o l o g y.


The Vertical Park is an open public space, with services and activities, that serve the local community and offers free access to an aerial view of the city. Access from: Broadway, 12th Ave, subway overpass & Riverside Dr.

The Hotel Tower is organized through different levels of accommodation in order to address differenttype of users and create a more dynamic environment. Access st.

The Residential block offers additional accomodations for students at the nearby Columbia University campus, as well as short and medium-term accomodations for tourists and professionals. Access from: Broadway and 130th st.

The Community Center adds a series of spaces and activities open to the local community, with the intent of raising the neigboroughhood’s quality of life. Access from: 125th st. and 130th st.

Permenant Supportive Housing This project is a two-unit apartment building complex that serve the low-income single parent women who have suffered from domestic voilence. The program is based upon two main sectors that the site provides: Common sector offers the occupants with various amenities such as, Day Care, Multi-purpose facility and Social Services. The private sector is for the individuals to live in a safe and comfortable environment. The building design and its components will be distinguished by its architectural elements such as form and pattern on its facade. This will result in harmonious and rhythmatic living spaces.
