HISTORIC MACON HOSTS ANNUAL MEETING, PRESENTS AWARDS MACON, Ga. — On Tuesday, May 1, Historic Macon Foundation held its annual meeting and awards ceremony at the Cox Capitol Theatre. The meeting included progress updates, preservation awards ceremony and the installation of new trustees. Historic Macon’s staff and trustees were proud to announce that the organization exceeded many of its goals in the past year. Also announced was the new Young Patron membership level, open to those ages 21–39 who want to get involved with Historic Macon, attend special social events and plan new activities and fundraisers.
