Premessa Leggere attentamente il manuale prima dell’utilizzo del prodotto. Questo manuale fornisce tutte le informazioni necessarie all’installazione, al funzionamento e alla manutenzione ottimale e in sicurezza del ComfoControl Ease. L’unità è soggetta a sviluppo e a miglioramenti continui. Pertanto, è possibile che il ComfoControl Ease differisca leggermente dalla descrizione fornita. Introduzione

A cosa serve questo dispositivo? Il ComfoControl Ease, di seguito CC Ease, consente di gestire in maniera semplice e comoda un sistema di ventilazione bilanciata con recupero di calore Zehnder. Solitamente il CC Ease viene installato a parete in soggiorno. Il CC Ease riporta tutte le informazioni importanti sul sistema di ventilazione, di seguito ComfoAir, che gestisce. Pertanto, non occorre più andare a verificare direttamente sul ComfoAir che tutto funzioni correttamente. Maggiori informazioni sulla ventilazione e sul funzionamento del ComfoAir sono disponibili nel manuale per l’installatore del ComfoAir. È possibile richiederne una copia a Zehnder. Norme di sicurezza Rispettare sempre le norme di sicurezza contenute in questo manuale. Il mancato rispetto delle norme di sicurezza, delle avvertenze, dei commenti e delle istruzioni potrebbe provocare lesioni personali o danni al CC Ease. Q Il montaggio, l’installazione e la messa in funzione del CC Ease potranno essere effettuati esclusivamente da un installatore autorizzato; Q L’installazione del CC Ease deve essere eseguita conformemente alle norme generalmente e localmente applicabili in materia di costruzione, sicurezza e installazione, emanate dal comune e dall’azienda di erogazione dell’energia elettrica; Q Conservare il manuale in prossimità del CC Ease durante tutta la sua vita

operativa.

Controllo della fornitura

Controllo della fornitura Contattare immediatamente il fornitore qualora si notassero danneggiamenti o la fornitura fosse incompleta. La fornitura include: Q Panello frontale del CC Ease con circuito stampato e connettore; Q Alloggiamento del CC Ease con circuito stampato e connettore di allacciamento; Q Documentazione. Trasporto e rimozione dell’imballo Prestare particolare cura durante il trasporto e la rimozione dell’imballo del CC Ease. Assicurarsi che i materiali usati per l’imballo siano smaltiti in modo ecologico, senza nuocere all’ambiente.

Requisiti di installazione

Onde poter stabilire se il CC Ease può essere installato in un determinato ambiente, è necessario tenere conto dei seguenti aspetti: Q Il CC Ease deve essere posizionato in una stanza a una distanza di almeno 1,50 metri dal pavimento e deve essere accessibili all’utilizzatore; Q Nell’ambiente scelto per l’installazione devono essere presenti le seguenti strutture: - Alloggiamento da incasso per il CC Ease. - Tensione di rete da 12V DC dal ComfoAir. - Cavo di comunicazione Rx/Tx dal ComfoAir. Q Il cavo con cui deve essere collegato il CC Ease deve soddisfare almeno i seguenti requisiti: - Tipo di cavo: schermato 2x2x0,34mm 2. - Lunghezza del cavo: massimo 40 m

4. Installazione 4.1. Montaggio a parete Il CC Ease può essere inserito in una normale struttura da montaggio o da incasso. È possibile ordinare da Zehnder strutture da montaggio per esterno nello stesso assortimento di colori del CC Ease. Disegno quotato

4.2. Cavi Per l’allacciamento o il collegamento del CC Ease il ComfoAir deve essere completamente spento. Così facendo, si evita la presenza di corrente sull’ingresso e sull’uscita del CC Ease.

Istruzioni per l’incasso Per poter montare correttamente il pannello frontale del CC Ease il connettore nell’alloggiamento del CC Ease deve trovarsi nella parte inferiore.

Il CC deve essere collegato sempre in maniera incrociata (Rx su Tx) con un cavo schermato (2x2x0,34mm 2 ) con lunghezza massima di 40 metri.

Per montare il pannello frontale il connettore del pannello frontale deve essere inserito nel circuito stampato dell’alloggiamento a parete.

5. Messa in funzione 5.1

Utilizzo del ComfoControl Ease

La schermata sottostante spiega in breve e a linee generali quali dati possono essere visualizzati sul CC Ease.

Il CC Ease ha una serie di tasti di azionamento che consentono di gestire il ComfoAir e di eseguire le impostazioni. Di seguito vengono illustrati questi tasti. Questo tasto consente di passare alla posizione di ventilazione massima. - Premere per meno di 2 secondi p Cappa di aspirazione ON o OFF (opzionale). - Premere per oltre 2 secondi p Posizione superiore temporanea ON. Questo tasto consente di passare da immissione a scarico e viceversa. - Premere 1 volta p IMMISSIONE OFF (e SCARICO ON). - Premere 2 volte p SCARICO OFF (e IMMISSIONE ON). - Premere 3 volte p IMMISSIONE e SCARICO entrambi ON. Questo tasto consente di rilevare o di impostare la temperatura comfort. - Premere per meno di 2 secondi p RILEVARE. - Premere per più di 2 secondi p IMPOSTARE. Questo tasto consente di eseguire due impostazioni. - Premere per meno di 2 secondi p Impostare il programma di ventilazione (AUTO / MANUAL). - Premere per più di 2 secondi p Impostare giorno e ora. Questi tasti consentono di eseguire diverse impostazioni: - Nel menu P o sulla schermata della temperatura comfort p Impostare i valori. - Nella schermata principale p assegnare la posizione di ventilazione (A, 1, 2, 3).

Nel caso in cui la cappa di aspirazione non sia presente o non sia supportata, la posizione superiore temporanea si attiverà anche con una rapida pressione del tasto.

Se la regolazione camino è attivata o se è presente un dispositivo ComfoCool, non è possibile spegnere manualmente il ventilatore di immissione e scarico. IT - 7

Non tutte le funzioni di sistema del CC Ease sono supportate da qualsiasi sistema di ventilazione. Il CC Ease consente di eseguire le seguenti operazioni: Q Rilevare e impostare il giorno e l’ora; Q Rilevare e impostare la temperatura comfort; Q Rilevare e impostare la quantità di ventilazione; Q Attivare una posizione superiore temporanea; Q Impostare l’accensione e lo spegnimento della cappa di aspirazione (opzionale);

Q Impostare l’accensione e lo spegnimento del ventilatore di immissione e scarico (opzionale); Q Impostare un programma di ventilazione personalizzato; Q Impostare regolazioni/opzioni di ventilazione aggiuntive nei menu P. Nei paragrafi seguenti verranno illustrate brevemente le azioni summenzionate. Se non intervengono altre azioni, il CC Ease torna dopo 30 secondi automaticamente alla schermata principale

Rilevazione e impostazione della temperatura comfort

La temperatura comfort può essere impostata alla temperatura interna che si desidera. In base a questa temperatura il ComfoAir deciderà se è il caso di attivare con l’ausilio del bypass il free-cooling.

La temperatura comfort può essere impostata alla stessa temperatura del termostato ambiente (dell’impianto di riscaldamento centrale)

Rilevazione e impostazione della quantità di ventilazione Rilevazione della quantità di ventilazione La quantità di ventilazione effettiva, per esempio “2”, viene visualizzata di norma sul CC Ease. Il ComfoAir solitamente regolerà la quantità di ventilazione automaticamente secondo un programma di ventilazione preimpostato. Durante la ventilazione automatica sul CC Ease sarà visibile il messaggio “AUTO”.

Oltre alla posizione di ventilazione impostata, sul CC Ease è possibile rilevare se un comando temporaneo (come, ad esempio, un sensore di CO 2 o un interruttore bagno) crea anomalie nella posizione di ventilazione desiderata. In caso di anomalia della posizione di ventilazione desiderata a causa di un valore di ritardo attivo (come il ritardo di disattivazione di un interruttore bagno) nell’angolo in basso a destra del CC Ease appare una “t”.

In caso di anomalia della posizione di ventilazione desiderata a causa del segnale di un sensore (come il sensore di CO 2) nell’angolo in basso a destra del CC Ease appare una “A”. Impostazione della quantità di ventilazione La quantità di ventilazione può anche essere impostata manualmente aumentandola o riducendola. Si possono impostare fino a 4 quantità/posizioni di ventilazione. E cioè: Q Posizione A p Assente. - Utilizzo in caso di assenza; Con la posizione A l’abitazione viene ventilata con la quantità di ventilazione minima consigliata.

Il ComfoAir punta alla posizione di ventilazione massima impostata nell’ambiente, a meno che non vi sia una regolazione software automatica che disponga altrimenti.

Nel caso in cui sia stato impostato un ritardo di disattivazione per la cappa di aspirazione, il ComfoAir tornerà alla posizione di ventilazione normale soltanto al termine di questo ritardo di disattivazione.

Occorre tenere presente che spegnendo il ventilatore di immissione e di scarico, l’abitazione sarà temporaneamente priva di ventilazione controllata.

Durante il ritardo di disattivazione non verrà visualizzato il simbolo della cappa di aspirazione ma una “t”.

Ventilatore di immissione spento

Il timer del ritardo di disattivazione della cappa di aspirazione può essere disattivato prima del raggiungimento del valore impostato premendo o .

Ventilatore di scarico spento

Manutenzione

Il CC Ease non necessita di manutenzione. È invece necessario effettuare interventi periodici di manutenzione sul ComfoAir che viene gestito dal CC Ease. Per capire quali sono gli interventi di manutenzione di cui necessita il ComfoAir si può fare riferimento al manuale dello stesso ComfoAir.

Guasti

In caso di guasto al ComfoAir, solitamente compare un messaggio di errore sullo schermo del CC Ease. I messaggi di errori vengono visualizzati sul CC Ease come: Q Una “A” lampeggiante accompagnata da un numero dove normalmente viene indicata la posizione di ventilazione; Q Una “E” lampeggiante accompagnata da un numero dove normalmente viene indicata la posizione di ventilazione; Q Una “E A” lampeggiante accompagnata da un numero dove normalmente viene indicata la posizione di ventilazione;

Tutti questi messaggi di errore sul CC Ease possono essere ripristinati agendo come segue: - Premere fino a quando il messaggio di errore scompare (min. 3 sec.). Guasto filtro Quando sul CC Ease appare uno dei seguenti avvisi filtro, occorre pulire o sostituire i filtri: Q “FILTRO I” p I filtri interni devono essere puliti o sostituiti; Q “FILTRO E” p I filtri esterni devono essere puliti o sostituiti (opzionale). I filtri interni vengono forniti di serie con il ComfoAir. I filtri esterni (opzionali) fanno parte del sistema di condotte del ComfoAir e non rientrano nella dotazione del ComfoAir stesso. Per la sostituzione (o la pulizia) dei filtri si veda il manuale del ComfoAir.

Guida guasti La guida ai guasti che potrebbero verificarsi si trova nel manuale del ComfoAir. La spina deve rimanere sempre nella presa, a meno che il ComfoAir debba essere messo fuori servizio a causa di un grave guasto, della pulizia o della sostituzione del filtro, o di altra ragione seria. Quando l’unità è scollegata, l’abitazione non beneficerà più della ventilazione meccanica e questo può causare problemi di ristagno di umidità e formazione di muffe. È necessario evitare di tenere a lungo spento il ComfoAir.

Condizioni di garanzia Il CC Ease è coperto da una garanzia rilasciata dal costruttore per un periodo di 24 mesi dall’installazione, fino ad un massimo di 30 mesi dalla data di fabbricazione. Le richieste d’intervento in garanzia possono essere presentate unicamente per difetti dei materiali e/o di fabbricazione che si manifestino durante il periodo di validità della garanzia. Nel caso di una richiesta d’intervento in garanzia, il CC Ease non deve essere smantellato senza il permesso scritto rilasciato dal costruttore. I ricambi sono coperti dalla garanzia solo se forniti dal costruttore e se installati da un installatore autorizzato.

Responsabilità Il CC Ease è stato progettato e costruito per l’applicazione all’interno di un sistema di ventilazione bilanciata con recupero di calore. Qualsiasi altra applicazione verrà considerata come uso improprio e potrà eventualmente danneggiare il CC Ease o causare lesioni personali, eventualità per le quali il costruttore non potrà essere tenuto responsabile. 1. Einleitung Wozu dient diese Bedienungsanleitung? Mit dem ComfoControl Ease (im Folgenden: dem CC Ease) können Systeme zur kontrollierten Lüftung mit Wärmerückgewinnung von Zehnder auf einfache und komfortable Weise bedient werden. Der CC Ease wird in der Regel im Wohnzimmer an der Wand angebracht. Der CC Ease zeigt alle wichtigen Informationen des über sie bediente Belüftungssystem (im Folgenden: der ComfoAir) an. Dadurch ist es nicht mehr notwendig am Display des Lüftungsgerätes ComfoAir die korrekte Funktionsweise aller Komponenten zu kontrollieren. In der Installationsanleitung des ComfoAir können Sie mehr über die richtige Lüftung und die Funktion des ComfoAir lesen. Eine Kopie dieser Bedienungsanleitung ist bei Zehnder erhältlich. Sicherheitsvorschriften Beachten Sie jederzeit die Sicherheitsvorschriften in dieser Bedienungsanleitung. Die Nichtbeachtung der Sicherheitsvorschriften, Warnhinweise, Anmerkungen und Anweisungen kann Körperverletzungen oder Beschädigungen am CC Ease zur Folge haben. Kontrolle des Lieferumfangs

Kontrolle des Lieferumfangs Sollten Sie Schäden oder Unvollständigkeiten am gelieferten Produkt feststellen, setzen Sie sich unverzüglich mit dem Lieferanten in Verbindung. Zum Lieferumfang gehören: Q Frontplatte des CC Ease mit Platine und Konnektor; Q Gehäuse des CC Ease mit Platine und Anschlusskonnektor; Q Dokumentation. Transport und Auspacken Gehen Sie beim Transport und Auspacken des CC Ease vorsichtig vor.

Installationsvoraussetzungen

Um beurteilen zu können, ob die Installation des CC Ease in einem bestimmten Raum möglich ist, sind folgende Punkte zu beachten: Q Der CC Ease muss mindestens 1,50 m über dem Boden in einem Wohnraum montiert werden und für den Benutzer zugänglich sein. Q In dem Raum müssen die folgenden Vorrichtungen vorhanden sein: - Einbaugehäuse für den CC Ease. - 12V DC Netzspannung vom ComfoAir. - Rx/Tx-Kommunikationskabel vom ComfoAir. Q Das Kabel, mit dem der CC Ease angeschlossen werden muss, sollte mindestens folgenden Anforderungen entsprechen: - Kabeltyp: , geschirmte Ausführung 2x2x0,34 mm 2. - Kabellänge: maximal 40 m

Sorgen Sie dafür, dass das Verpackungsmaterial auf umweltfreundliche Weise entsorgt wird.

4. Installation 4.1. Wandmontage Der CC Ease kann in einem standardmäßiges Aufputz-Gehäuse oder in eine Unterputz-Schalterdose eingebaut werden. Aufputz-Gehäuse in denselben Farben wie der CC Ease sind bei Zehnder erhältlich. Maßskizze

Einbauanleitung Um die Frontplatte des CC Ease montieren zu können, muss sich der Konnektor im Gehäuse des CC Ease an der Unterseite befinden.

4.2. Verkabelung Um den CC Ease anschließen oder lösen zu können, muss der ComfoAir vollständig ausgeschaltet werden. Damit wird verhindert, dass der Einund Ausgang des CC Ease unter Spannung stehen. Der CC Ease muss immer kreuzweise (Rx an Tx) mit einem abgeschirmten Kabel (2x2 x 0,34 mm 2 ) von höchstens 40m Länge angeschlossen werden.

Um die Frontplatte montieren zu können, muss der Konnektor von der Frontplatte auf der Platine des Gehäuses in der Wand angebracht werden.

5. Inbetriebnahme 5.1

Benutzung des ComfoControl Ease

In der nachstehenden Übersicht wird kurz beschrieben, welche Angaben auf dem CC Ease abgelesen werden können.

Der CC Ease verfügt zur Bedienung und Einstellung des ComfoAir über verschiedene Tasten. Im Folgenden werden diese Tasten erklärt. Mit dieser Taste kann zur höchsten Belüftungsstufe geschaltet werden. - Drücken Sie kürzer als 2 Sekunden p Dunstabzugshaube EIN oder AUS (Option). - Drücken Sie länger als 2 Sekunden p Vorübergehend höchste Stufe EIN. Mit dieser Taste kann die Zufuhr und/oder Abfuhr geschaltet werden. - Drücken Sie 1 Mal p ZULUFT AUS (und ABLUFT EIN). - Drücken Sie 2 Mal p ABLUFT AUS (und ZULUFT EIN). - Drücken Sie 3 Mal p ZULUFT EIN und ABLUFT EIN). Mit dieser Taste kann die Komforttemperatur abgelesen oder eingestellt werden. - Drücken Sie kürzer als 2 Sekunden p ABLESEN. - Drücken Sie länger als 2 Sekunden p EINSTELLEN. Mit dieser Taste können zwei Funktionen eingestellt werden. - Drücken Sie kürzer als 2 Sekunden p Belüftungsprogramm einstellen (AUTO / MANUAL). - Drücken Sie länger als 2 Sekunden p Tag und Uhrzeit einstellen. Mit diesen Tasten können verschiedene Funktionen eingestellt werden. - Im Display des P-Menüs oder der Komforttemperatur p Werte einstellen. - Im Hauptfenster p Belüftungsstufe angeben (A, 1, 2, 3).

Wenn eine Dunstabzugshaube nicht angemeldet oder unterstützt wird, wird sich die Vorübergehend höchste Stufe auch bei kurzem eindrücken der Schaltfläche einschalten.

Solange eine Kaminregelung aktiviert oder ein ComfoCool angemeldet ist, können der Zuund Abluftventilator nicht von Hand ausgeschaltet werden.

Nicht alle Bedienfunktionen des CC Ease werden durch jedes Belüftungssystem unterstützt. Mit dem CC Ease können die folgenden Funktionen eingestellt und abgelesen werden: Q Ablesen und Einstellen von Tag und Uhrzeit; Q Ablesen und Einstellen der Komforttemperatur; Q Ablesen und Einstellen der Belüftungsstufe; Q Einstellen der vorübergehend höchsten Stufe; Q Ein- und Ausschalten der

Wartung

Der CC Ease selbst ist wartungsfrei. Der ComfoAir, der durch den CC Ease bedient wird, benötigt jedoch periodische Wartung. Welche Art der Wartung der ComfoAir benötigt, können Sie in der Bedienungsanleitung des ComfoAir nachlesen.

Störungen

Wenn der ComfoAir eine Störung hat, dann erscheint in den meisten Fällen eine Störungsmeldung auf dem Display des CC Ease. Die Störungsmeldungen erscheinen auf dem CC Ease wenn: Q Ein blinkendes “A” mit einer Ziffer anstelle der Belüftungsstufe angezeigt wird; Q Ein blinkendes “E” mit einer Ziffer anstelle der Belüftungsstufe angezeigt wird; Q Ein blinkendes “E A” mit einer Ziffer anstelle der Belüftungsstufe angezeigt wird;

Durch die folgende Handlung können sämtliche Störungsmeldungen auf dem CC Ease zurückgesetzt werden: - Drücken Sie auf bis die Störungsmeldung verschwindet (mind. 3 Sek.). Filterstörung Die Filter müssen gereinigt oder ausgetauscht werden, wenn eine der folgenden Filtermeldungen auf dem CC Ease erscheint: Q „FILTER I” p Die internen Filter müssen gereinigt oder ausgetauscht werden; Q „FILTER E” p Die externen Filter müssen gereinigt oder ausgetauscht werden (optional). Die internen Filter werden serienmäßig mit dem ComfoAir mitgeliefert. Die externen Filter (Option) sind Teil des Kanalsystems des ComfoAir und gehören nicht zum ComfoAir selbst.

Störungsbeseitigung Die Angaben zur Beseitigung etwaiger Störungen sind in der Bedienungsanleitung des ComfoAir zu finden. Der Stecker muss immer in der Steckdose eingesteckt bleiben, sofern der ComfoAir nicht aufgrund einer ernsthaften Störung, Filterreinigung oder -ersatz oder aus einem anderen zwingenden Grund außer Betrieb gesetzt werden muss. Würde man den Stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen, würde die Wohnung nicht mehr mechanisch belüftet und es könnten langfristig Feuchtigkeits- und Schimmelprobleme in der Wohnung auftreten. Das langfristige Ausschalten des ComfoAir ist zu vermeiden.

Gewährleistungsbestimmungen Der Hersteller gewährt auf den CC Ease eine Garantie von 24 Monaten nach der Installation und bis zu höchstens 30 Monaten nach dem Herstellungsdatum des CC Ease. Garantieansprüche können ausschließlich für Materialund/oder Konstruktionsfehler, die im Garantiezeitraum aufgetreten sind, geltend gemacht werden. Im Falle eines Garantieanspruchs darf der CC Ease ohne vorherige schriftliche Genehmigung des Herstellers nicht demontiert werden. Auf Ersatzteile gewährt der Hersteller nur dann eine Garantie, wenn diese von einem vom Hersteller anerkannten Installateur installiert wurden. Foreword Read this manual carefully before use. This manual provides all the information required for safe and optimal installation, operation and maintenance of the ComfoControl Ease. The device is subject to continuous development and improvement. There is therefore a possibility that the ComfoControl Ease differs slightly from the descriptions given. 1. Introduction What is the purpose of this control unit? The ComfoControl Ease, referred to further as CC Ease, enables users to easily and comfortably operate a balanced ventilation system with heat recovery. The CC Ease is usually mounted on the living room wall. It displays all important information about the ventilation system, referred to further as ComfoAir, being operated. This means it is not necessary to access the ComfoAir unit itself to check that everything is functioning properly. The ComfoAir installer manual covers in greater detail ventilation issues and how the ComfoAir works. A copy of this manual can be obtained from Zehnder. Safety instructions Always comply with safety regulations in this manual. If the safety regulations, warnings, comments and instructions are not complied with, this can lead to personal injury or damage to the CC Ease. Q The CC Ease may only be fitted, connected and commissioned by a registered installer; Q Installation of the CC Ease must be carried out in accordance with the general and locally applicable construction, safety and installation instructions of the local council and electricity company; Q Store the manual in the vicinity of the CC Ease for its entire working life.

3. Installation conditions 2. Checking the delivery Checking the delivery Contact your supplier immediately in case of damage or an incomplete delivery. The delivery must include: Q CC Ease front section with PCB and connector; Q CC Ease casing with PCB and connector; Q Documentation. Transport and unpacking Take care when transporting and unpacking the CC Ease. Make sure the packing material is disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.

In order to determine whether the CC Ease can be installed in a certain area, the following aspects must be taken into account: Q The CC Ease must be mounted at least 1.50 metres above the floor in a living area and be easily accessible for the user; Q The following facilities must be available in the living area concerned: - Flush-fit casing for the CC Ease. - 12V DC power supply from the ComfoAir. - Rx/Tx communication cable from the ComfoAir; Q The cable for connecting the CC Ease must comply with the following minimal requirements: - Cable type: shielded 2x2x0.34mm 2. - Cable length: 40 m maximum.

4. The System 4.1. Wall mounting The CC Ease can be mounted in a standard wall-mounted or flush-fit casing. Wall-mounted casings in the same colour as the CC Ease are available from Zehnder. Dimension sketch

4.2. Cabling When connecting or disconnecting the CC Ease, the ComfoAir must first be fully disconnected from its power supply. This prevents current being supplied to the CC Ease unitâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s input/output system. The CC Ease should always be crosslinked (Rx to Tx) with a shielded cable (2x2x0.34mm 2 ) of up to 40 metres.

Mounting instructions To ensure the CC Ease front section can be mounted correctly, the connector in the casing of the CC Ease must be located at the bottom.

5. Commissioning 5.1 Use of the ComfoControl Ease The overview below summarizes the information that will be displayed on the CC Ease. Time and date Supply air or exhaust air ON or OFF

The CC Ease has a number of buttons to operate the ComfoAir and to enter the settings. These buttons are illustrated below. This button switches to the highest ventilation setting. - Press for less than 2 seconds p Extractor hood ON or OFF (optional). - Press for longer than 2 seconds p Temporary high setting ON. This button allows you to switch between supply/exhaust. - Press once p SUPPLY OFF (and EXHAUST ON). - Press twice p EXHAUST OFF (and SUPPLY ON). - Press 3 times p SUPPLY and EXHAUST both ON. This button allows you to display or set the comfort temperature. - Press for less than 2 seconds p READ. - Press for longer than 2 seconds p SET. This button allows you to adjust two settings. - Press for less than 2 seconds p Programme ventilation setting (AUTO / MANUAL). - Press for longer than 2 seconds p Set date and time. These buttons allow you to adjust various settings: - In P menu or comfort temperature screen p Set values. - In main screen p enter ventilation setting (A, 1, 2, 3).

If an extractor hood is not registered or is not supported, then the Temporary High Setting will be activated by a short press of the button. While the open fire programme is activated, or when an ComfoCool

is registered, the supply and exhaust fan cannot be manually switched off. Not all CC Ease operating functions are supported by each ventilation system.

The comfort temperature can be set to the required indoor temperature. Based on this temperature, the ComfoAir will then automatically switch to free cooling using the bypass if required.

Reading and setting the ventilation volume The actual ventilation level, e.g. “2”, will always be displayed on the CC Ease. The ComfoAir regulates the required ventilation levels automatically in accordance with a preset ventilation programme. During automatic ventilation mode “AUTO” will be displayed on the CC Ease.

In the event a required ventilation setting is being overridden by a signal from a sensor (such as a CO 2 sensor), an â&#x20AC;&#x153;Aâ&#x20AC;? is displayed in the bottom right-hand corner of the CC Ease. Setting the ventilation levels The ventilation level can also be set manually by setting this higher or lower. A total of 4 ventilation volumes/levels can be set. 6. Maintenance The CC Ease does not require maintenance. However, the ComfoAir controlled by the CC Ease does require periodic maintenance. The maintenance required by the ComfoAir is stipulated in the ComfoAir’s manual.

7. Malfunctions If the ComfoAir has a malfunction, then in most cases a malfunction alert will appear in the CC Ease screen. Malfunction alerts appear on the CC Ease as: Q A flashing “A” with a number extension in the field that normally displays the ventilation setting; Q A flashing “E” with a number extension in the field that normally displays the ventilation setting; Q A flashing “E A” with a number extension in the field that normally displays the ventilation setting;.

All these malfunction alerts on the CC Ease can be reset by following the steps below: - Press until the malfunction alert disappears (min. 3 sec.). Filter malfunction The filters must be cleaned or replaced if one of the filter warnings below appears on the CC-Ease: Q “ FILTER I ” p The internal filters must be cleaned or replaced; Q “ FILTER E ” p The external filters must be cleaned or replaced (optional). The internal filters are included in the standard configuration of the ComfoAir. The external filters (optional) form part of the ducting of the ComfoAir, yet do not form part of the ComfoAir itself. To replace (or clean) any filters, please refer to the ComfoAir’s manual.

Malfunction alerts Alerts of possible malfunctions can be found in the ComfoAirâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s manual. The system should remain connected to its power supply unless the ComfoAir requires taking out of service due to a serious malfunction or for filter cleaning/ replacement or any other compelling reasons. When the unit is disconnected, the dwelling will no longer enjoy mechanical ventilation, and this can lead to problems with damp and mould. Longterm deactivation of the ComfoAir must be prevented.

8. Warranty and liability Warranty conditions The CC Ease is covered by a manufacturerâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s warranty for a period of 24 months after fitting up to a maximum of 30 months after the date of manufacture. Warranty claims may only be submitted for material faults and/or construction faults arising during the warranty period. In the case of a warranty claim, the CC Ease must not be dismantled without written permission from the manufacturer. Spare parts are only covered by the warranty if they were supplied by the manufacturer and have been installed by an approved fitter. The warranty becomes invalid if: Q The guarantee period has elapsed; Q Parts are used which were not supplied by the manufacturer; Q Unauthorized alterations and/or modifications have been made to the unit.

Liability The CC Ease is designed and manufactured for use with a balanced ventilation system with heat recovery. Any other application is seen as inappropriate use and can result in damage to the CC Ease or personal injury, for which the manufacturer cannot be held liable. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage originating from: Q Non-compliance with the safety, operating and maintenance instructions in this manual; Q The use of components not supplied or recommended by the manufacturer (the responsibility for the use of such components lies entirely with the fitter); Q Normal wear and tear.
