Memorial roses were carried into the ceremony by the mothers of the couple in loving memory of their grandparents. The couple was honored at a dinner dance at the historic Packing Shed on the Sahuaro Ranch immediately following the ceremony. After a honeymoon trip to Playa Del Carmen, the newlyweds are making their home in Phoenix, Ariz., where the groom is employed as a minor league pitcher in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization and the bride is a program interpreter for the A rizona Science Center.

Leo and Anna Mae Albertson 65th anniversary L A K EV IEW — Leo and Anna Mae Albertson will celebrate their 65th wedd ing a n n iversa r y with family members and friends at a dinner hosted by their children from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Lakeview. The Albertson family homesteaded in Lake County in 1913 and Leo was born on the west side. He farmed with his father Henry before serving in the Navy during World War II and was honorably discharged

in 1945. Anna Mae was raised in Oklahoma and worked on aircraft during the war. They were married in Klamath Falls on Feb. 17, 1946, after a threemonth engagement. In 1949, L eo drew a 97-acre homestead in Jerome, Idaho, and, after making the ground productive and required improvements, they very happily moved back to Lake County in April 1953. In 1956, they started
