Jarvis is a graphic designer and photographer based in Auckland, New Zealand. She is passionate about print based design and editorial photography and uses these two mediums as the inspiration for the majority of her work. Jarvis challenges her previous design experiences and pushes her theoretical and practical thinking to develop projects that are both inclusive of the community and aid a cause. Her aim when design is to facilitate a need. In doing so Jarvis takes in to consideration the specific cultural identities and aesthetic ideals that each project requires. Her approach is explorative and innovative as she enjoys pushing the boundaries and aiming high to achieve the full potential of each project. Jarvis has experience in photography, print design, project management, exhibition curation and web design. She is constantly developing projects that aid the growth of her design experience and ability.
