Due to a lot of changes in Stockholm over the past few years, tags and graffiti overall in the city and trains has changed a lot as well. The ways of counteracting with these changes vary, some writers just plain quit, some switched places and methods of writing. A few writers are still working hard and have managed to adapt and adjust, I went out to a local bar in the city to have a beer and talk with Alita, Orak, Vegas and Doper who make up for about half of the CULT crew, a relatively new bombing-crew consisting of a wide variety of members when it comes to style, origin and age that combined together still make sure Stockholm’s buffers and police have exhausting amounts of work to do.

Just a couple of years ago the targets and methods of bombing were totally different, for example bombing on the floors and panels inside the subway has more or less died out. What is your view on the writers, cops and buffers today compared to a few years ago? A: well basically the changes are because of the amount of surveillance that’s around today. They’ve gotten a lot more funds, cameras and money to keep Stockholm clean. D: Yeah just as we talked about earlier, the second they have your face and your tag your going to be in a mess. O: You get caught on camera with your tag can easily result with cops knocking on your door and charging you with every single tag you’ve ever done. V: To do insides today you’re going to have to take another route, avoid camera angles and so on.
