HELLO! I am so pleased to introduce our 2nd edition of “Make Pretty Stuff”! I just love the ability to visit this little e*ideabook over and over via any electronic device of choice! This issue showcases several new products which are available right now in 400+ JoAnn Craft Stores across the country. I designed this collection by dreaming up 8 different ce “project starters.” THEN, I e Lie sh imagined the types of projects ma n I would want to make, and went to work designing all of the different things I need to ‘Make Pretty Stuff’. I have organized this edition into chapters according to those “project starters.” In each chapter we have showcased projects that will get your creative wheels turning and we will introduce you to all of the glorious “toppings” you can add to any, and ALL of your creations! cr

Spray the Color Magic stand with black color shine, and wipe away excess with a paper towel. Clean resist pattern with a little bit of glass cleaner. 1
Spray ribbon with teal color shine and tie in a bow while ribbon is still wet. 2
Cut a variety of large tags out of the 6x8 paper pad. Use a watercolor paint brush and black color shine, and handwrite or print your favorite inspiring quotes on paper. 3
Add glitter alphabet stickers to personalize. 4
Adhere the ribbon and glitter banner in place, then add a bling gem circle in the center of the bow. 5

Create a mini 3” x 4” accordion album with the glitter cards as the perfect set of covers! 1 2 3 4 5
Cut (3) 4” x 8” sections from the paper pad and fold into 3” x 4” sections. Adhere the pieces together end to end creating the inside accordion pages. Adhere a 12” piece of ribbon between the glitter card and accordion page at the front; repeat with the back. Punch 2 holes in a glitter butterfly die cut, and thread the ribbon through. Wrap the ribbon around the mini book, and tie a bow to close.

Spray watercolor tag with color shine and allow to dry. Then combine the number stamps with the “20__” stamp to fill in the year. 1
Stamp the word “remember” from the word stamp set; cut out to create a long tag. 2
Combine elements from both stamp sets to create a stamped collage on the canvas album cover. 3
Create subway style art on the flap of the canvas album by stamping words together in different directions. 4
Stamp onto clear tab pages with archival permanent ink; press down carefully and lift straight back up to avoid a smear. Set aside to dry. 5
Use the number stamps with the calendar pages to create dates.

Position the star stencil over tag and spray with a light spritz of teal color shine. 1
Position the diagonal stripe stencil so that the stripes are horizontal across the top of the tag only, and spray evenly with teal color shine. 2
Lay the polka dot stencil over the tag, and spray with a combination of blush and gold color shine. 3
Position the diagonal stripe stencil over the tag and spray with blush color shine; slide the stencil down so that it is covering the Blush color, and spray with Teal Color Shine. 4
Position the 6x6 circle lattice die cut color magic paper over the tag, and spray with blush color shine. Locate the page die cut paper “Favorite” and position it above the lattice design, and spray with blush color shine. Mask off any exposed tag with a paper towel. 5
Locate the 6x6 Color Magic paper with the arrow die cut; position over a mini rectangular tag and spray with seafoam color shine. 6
Position the diagonal stripe stencil vertically and spray with blush color shine. Move the stencil down slightly, and spray again with blush color shine. The color will appear darker where the color has been layered. 7
Position the polka dot stencil first, and spray with coral color shine, move the stencil slightly and spray with blush color shine, this will give a slight shadow for the stencil design. 8
Place the diagonal stencil over the tag, and spray teal color shine only over the bottom section of the tag. Add a soft spray over the diagonal design. Position the word “BLISS” from the 6x6 color magic paper and spray with teal color shine. 9
Place letters from the glitter alphabet “LOVE” on the oval tag, and spray over the top with seafoam color shine. Remove the letter stickers. 10
Spray tag first with seafoam color shine. Place the diagonal stripe stencil over the top and spray with teal color shine. 11
Locate the chevron die cut from the die cut tags. Spray with blush color shine; move the tag down 1/8th” and spray with coral color shine. 12
Place 3 mini stars from the enamel stickers over tag and spray over the top with coral color shine. Remove the stickers. 13
