This project has been a labour of love, and I would like to thank the following:

Heather (my wife) Allowing myself to indulge in this passion and spend a sizeable amount of money to achieve this outcome. There were many instances during the refurbishment when the call went out to Heather for assistance. Small hands are invaluable when you need to access tight spaces the nuts on the air cleaner fixings come to mind. There were many and varied tasks that Heather assisted with and I cannot thank her enough for her help and for putting up with me. Lunch is ready was the call every day, it is the little things that one takes for granted.

Des and Jennifer Price (good friends) For giving me the tractor, no strings attached, their genuine interest in seeing the tractor brought back to life. Des turned up one day with the seat off his own TE 20 to use, (which I did use) as the original although repaired was thought to be not suitable. If I had let him, Des’s opinion was the guards on his tractor were in better condition than the originals and he would have gladly removed them off his own tractor for use in this refurbishment. Des and Jennifer also brought me a model TE 20 for display in the house, once they had seen my passion for the grey fergie and I had decided to accept their kind offer of the tractor.

Robbie Skellern (good friend) Robbie’s interest in the project has been a real driving force to achieve the best result possible. I would always bounce things off Des and Robbie, on how we should progress certain things, Des would generally say, you blokes know what you doing, so it would be up to Robbie to confirm a certain way forward or otherwise. Early June we first started the tractor with the help of a mechanic friend (Jamie), the next day, we travelled to NZ for a family birthday. That was a break of about a month, Robbie had not seen the tractor going, before we left, so he was keen as mustard to visit and see the finished article. Any Des and Robbie came over, and I asked Robbie if he would like a

drive, the offer was gladly accepted, great to see Robbie coming down the street, grinning from ear to ear.

Heads Tractor Services (Parts supplier) I was looking for parts early in the project and stumbled on to Heads through eBay. The staff at Heads could not be more help full, and have certainly made the refurbishment pleasurable. Jon was the first contact I made at Heads, it was Saturday morning and he was run off his feet. Despite how busy Jon was, he took to time to help me, and we have developed a good friendship since. Every time I see Jon for parts, he says, ring me if you have any problems, and believe me there have been plenty of calls. Jon’s knowledge of the TE 20 and Ferguson’s in general is second to none his hints have saved me plenty of grief. I highly recommend Jon and Heads Tractor Services to anyone contemplating refurbishing a TE 20 or Massey Ferguson.

Jamie Anderson (mechanic) Jamie is a friend off the family (through our son Callum). Jamie’s expertise was called on for the following, refitting the block to the chassis, wiring, timing of the engine, rebuilding the carburettor item's I was not competent to attempt myself.

To all the people not mentioned, and there are many, that assisted me through this project, I can honestly say everybody that I met through this project, whether it be engineering of parts, bolt suppliers, personal friends or whatever, a big thank you.
