El Campo de Gibraltar se adapta a las medidas restrictivas del suministro de agua •

Se cumplen algo más de 15 días desde la pueta en vigor las restricciones en el suministro de agua debido a la sequía y que ha afectado a todo el Campo de Gibraltar.

El Campo de Gibraltar lleva dos semanas de restricciones de agua debido a la actual sequía. En los últimos tiempos se han instalado válvulas de presión para que los ciudadanos no noten la reducción de agua, además que muchas cuentas con aljibes, depósitos o motores que hacen que por el momento sea casi imperceptible la reducción de agua Se aplican medidas a través de dos franjas horarias. La primera con una disminución de la presión de agua de 6 de la mañana a 23 horas, y la reducción casi total de la presión de 23 a 6 de la mañana. Estas medidas se estarán de manera indefinida hasta que no mejore

la situación actual. También queda prohibido el riego de jardines y zonas verdes tanto públicas como privados, limpieza de los viales tanto públicos como privados, piscianas privadas, fuentes ornamentales, lavado de vehículos fuera de los establecimientos autorizados, duchas y surtidores públicos. Se pide responsabilidad a la población en el uso del agua y la comprensión de estas medidas como inevitables por la situación de los embalses, además de que cada uno reduzca el consumo en la medida de lo posible para aminorar el máximo el consumo de agua. Estas medidas se estarán de manera indefi-

nida hasta que no mejore la situación actual. Respecto a uno de los temas más importantes para la zona de Sotogrande, como es el riego de los

campos de golf, con todo lo que hay implica, existe una mesa técnica específica para campos de golf y como ya lleva realizándose durante mediados de 2022 y todo 2023. Los campos

dispondrán con un volumen de suministro acordado para el riego de mantenimiento, además todas las medidas de agua regenerada que individualmente cuenten.

El precio del alquiler en Andalucía sube un 5,09% frente al año pasado • La vivienda de alquiler en Andalucía, a finales del pasado ejercicio, crece respecto al mes anterior en más de medio punto porcentual. El piso tipo de alquiler en Andalucía registró en diciembre de 2023 un precio medio en ascenso, una variación mensual del 0,63%, respecto al mes anterior, lo que lo sitúa en el tercer ascenso menos marcado del país. Respecto a diciembre de 2022, creció un 5,09%. Andalucía estuvo a la misma distancia de la región más cara, Baleares ,que de la más barata, La Rioja. Por su parte, la vivienda en alquiler en España tuvo en diciembre de 2023 un precio medio de 11,12 euros por metro cuadrado. Esta cifra marcó un ascenso mensual del 0,18%. La subida trimestral fue del 1,74% mientras que el repunte semestral alcanzó el 2,02%. Interanualmente, se produjo una subida del 6,01%.

Respecto a las provincias andaluzas, Granada (2,95%) arrojó el repunte mensual más importante de la región. De un año a otro, Málaga (15,82%) registró la séptima mayor subida de España, y Jaén (-9,02%) fue la sexta que más cayó del país. En cuanto a las capitales andaluzas, Granada (2,27%) fue la capital de la autonomía que más creció frente a noviembre de 2023. Jaén (-0,82%) arrojó la décima caída más intensa de España. Interanualmente, todas las capitales andaluzas crecieron. Málaga (19,57%) fue la sexta capital española que más se incrementó. Inmood Hotels creará más de 50 puestos de trabajo en San Roque Club El hotel, ubicado en la urbanización San Roque Club, cuenta con una plantilla de 14 trabajadores y en la actualidad 45 habitaciones disponibles al público. Para la inauguración oficial del mismo, que se estima que sea sobre junio cuando finalice la actual reforma que se está llevando a cabo después de permanecer casi diez años cerrado, se ofertarán 150 habitaciones, 50 villas -cada una de ellas con 3 habitaciones-, y se aumentará la plantilla con la creación de 50 puestos de trabajo en las diferentes sec-

ciones del hotel (Regiduría de pisos, Recepción, mantenimiento, restauración...) La dirección del hotel apuesta ante todo por contrataciones de personas del municipio y de la zona, para ello contará con la colaboración del Club del Trabajo para la difusión y reclutamiento de las vacantes que vayan surgiendo, además de utilizar otros medios como el portal de empleo turijobs. Turismo: tiempo de récords La 44ª edición de Fitur ha llegado con los mejores datos y augurios. En 2023 el sector turístico aportó 200.000 millones de euros al PIB, un 12,8 %, algo nunca visto. Y según Exceltur, que agrupa a las principales empresas relacionadas con el sector, las perspectivas para 2024 son aún mejores, porque se podría alcanzar otro récord, con un peso del 13,4 % en el PIB, con lo que más del 40 % del crecimiento de la economía española se originará en las actividades turísticas. Se comprende el optimismo que rodea a esas actividades, desde la hostelería hasta el transporte aéreo y ferroviario, el alquiler de vehículos, etc. Tengamos presente que, como señaló Expansión, estos resultados fueron logrados a pesar de un entorno macroeconómico desfavorable, con tipos de interés al alza y un menor crecimiento de los principales países de Europa, más los conflictos bélicos en Ucrania y Palestina, y el encarecimiento de la energía. De ahí la importancia de cuidar estos negocios, tan relevantes para España en general y para nuestra Andalucía en particular. El vicepresidente ejecutivo

de Exceltur, José Luis Zoreda, según informó 5 Días, invitó a modernizar y ordenar el sector, fomentando la responsabilidad, de modo de evitar “los excesos del turismo y el turismo de los excesos”. Es sabido que, en aspecto cruciales, como el buen clima y las playas acogedoras, tenemos rivales importantes en Europa y África, desde Italia, Grecia y Turquía hasta Egipto, Túnez y Marruecos. Ellos seguirán presentando al mercado ofertas atractivas para todo tipo de viajeros, mientras que al mismo tiempo la desaceleración económica puede afectar a clientes significativos de España, como el Reino Unido y Alemania. Aunque las autoridades han sugerido que la subida de tipos podría tocar a su fin este año, esa realidad y su impacto positivo en el crecimiento no resultarán evidentes en 2024. Conviene, por tanto, celebrar los récords conseguidos por un turismo pujante, pero sin olvidar que los logros del pasado no garantizan el futuro si las empresas no se adaptan y si las autoridades no facilitan su labor.

Destacar la puja hasta el último hoyo tanto de Schmidm, que se quedó a un solo golpe de Meronk como de Richard Mansell (-14). Una complicada edición 2023 del EDAM, casi con un torneo diferente por día: sol, lluvia, viento, etc. Que convirtieron en todo un desafío (superado con matricula de honor por todo el staff de la competición y en especial del Real Club de Golf Sotogrande) y que pone la primera piedra de una bonita nueva andadura del DP Wolrd Tour en Sotogrande. La programación de torneos augura una gran temporada de polo en Sotogrande que durará más de cinco meses.

El polo vuelve a brillar un año más en Sotogrande

El mejor polo se vive y se disfruta, por supuesto, en Sotogrande. Ayala Polo Club, que desde el año 2020 cuenta con la gestión y organización de la temporada alta de polo en Sotogrande. Este año se disputará el 53º Torneo Internacional de polo con los 22 goles que ya se habían vuelto a incorporar en la anterior edición. Una apuesta que incrementa aún más el nivel y la calidad de este deporte que desfilarán el próximo agosto en las canchas de la Ayala Polo en Sotogrande. Un paso más al frente desde que asumiese la gestión de la temporada de polo en Sotogrande, con Paola Zobel al frente. Destacar también la presentación de todo el calendario oficial de competiciones para el 2024 que perfila nada menos que cinco meses de polo de grandísima calidad. Una agenda que comienza en mayo y que se alarga hasta

mediados de septiembre. Además del Torneo Internacional de Polo (con Alto, Mediano y Bajo HCP), el Memorial Fundador Enrique Zobel se disputará con equipos de 10-12 goles y el resto de torneos serán para combinados entre 6-8 goles. La Copa de Bienvenida, del 20 de mayo al 2 de junio será el arranque de la temporada con la ya tradicional Copa Ke Sotogrande. En junio, uno de los meses más intensos, comienza con la Copa Joseph McMiching del 6 al 16 de junio y continua con el Open de España repartido entre del 20 al 30 del mismo mes. Julio contará con otras dos semanas de intenso polo con el Memorial Manuel Prado y Colón de Carvajal, entre el 4 y 14 de este mes. El Memorial Fundador Enrique Zobel, una de las piezas fundamentales del calendario, se disputa entre del 4 al 14 de julio; para tomar fuerzas hasta el arranque del 53º Torneo In-

ternacional de Polo con la Copa de Bronce entre el 22 al 27 de julio. La Copa de Plata se plantea entre el 29 de julio y 17 de agosto; mientras que la Copa de Oro será entre el 19 y

31 de agosto. El broche de la temporada llegará con la Copa San Enrique de Guadiaro, entre del 5 al 8 de septiembre y se cerrará

definitivamente, hasta el próximo curso, con la Copa Despedida entre el 12 y 15 de septiembre. Un no parar de polo en Sotogrande, toda una grata noticia.

Solheim Cup corona a Finca Cortesín como uno de los resorts de referencia internacional El torneo más importante del golf femenino se ha disputado en el maravilloso espacio de Finca Cortesín con un resultado histórico en el que las europeas retuvieron, por tercera vez consecutiva, la copa con una clara protagonista, Carlota Ciganda, la única española del equipo europeo. Finca Cortesín puso ha disposición de todas las jugadoras y visitantes su espectacular campo de golf en el que pudieron disfrutar de tres días de golf que han hecho posible, entre otros muchos matices, que este 2023 haya sido imborrable para el golf femenino. Andalucía y más concretamente la Costa del Sol fue el epicentro de este evento que se disputaba por primera vez en España. Este fenómeno hizo que nadie quisiese perderse semejante suceso llegando a tener un alcance en televisión de más de 450 millones. En España alcanzo picos superiores a los 170.000 espectadores (Teledeoportes) y en el extranjero alcanzo puntos de más de 734.000 (Sky Sport) en la final, además de tener un 35% más de espectadores que en la anterior edición. Las redes sociales también vibraron con este acontecimiento obteniendo un alcance superior a los 180 millones de persona. Esto sin contar las noticias generadas en medios digitales e impresos. El singular campo de golf de Finca Cortesín se convirtió en el lugar perfecto para recibir el mejor golf femenino, con 465 periodistas acreditados y la cifra de 65.010 espectadores (el 52% mujeres- procedentes de 62 países colmaron el campo del 18 al 24 de septiembre; un 14% procedía de Estados Unidos -la mayor cifra hasta la fecha en territorio europeo, un 33% de las islas británicas, y un 35% de España -dos terceras partes de Andalucía). El domingo fue el día con más fuerza y que más público acudió con 18.193 personas registradas. En solamente una semana el torneo femenino más ansiado durante todo el año genero un impacto económico de 57 millones de euros en la Costa del Sol. Durante estos 7 días se generaron 3.455 puestos y se reservaron más de 13.000 habitaciones en 75 hoteles diferentes. La Solheim Cup volvió a ser para las europeas en una partida donde Carlota Ciganda conquisto al público, no solo por el punto que hizo conseguir la victoria en la ultima jornada sino por

su actitud durante toda la competición. La victoria de Carlota Ciganda sobre Nelly Korda se cosecharon múltiples hitos: la navarra ganó todos sus partidos, obteniendo 4 puntos para el equipo europeo; la Solheim Cup se empataba por primera vez en su historia; Europa retenía, también por primera vez en la historia, el trofeo por tercera vez consecutiva. Un aspecto importante que hay que remarcar es la responsabilidad medioambiental durante todo el evento. El campo de golf de Finca Cortesín por su parte destaca las instalaciones basadas en una gestión mediante la utili-

zación de agua regenerada 100%. La organización, llevada a cabo por Deporte & Business, reflejó su inquietud por presentar una Solheim Cup mucho más adaptada a la ecología creando la figura de “sustainability partner”, englobando a empresas comprometidas con el meAdio ambiente. También, tuvo un apartado Social en el que colaboró con la ONG Ángeles de la Noche, aportando tanto donativos económicos como excedente de alimentos. Un evento que corono el 2023 en el deporte femenino y en el golf con un ambiente y unos tiempos inmejorables.

Solheim Cup ended with victory of European girls at Finca Cortesín The most important tournament in women’s golf took place at the wonderful space of Finca Cortesín with an historic result where the Europeans retained, for the third consecutive time, the cup with a clear star, Carlota Ciganda, the only Spaniard in the European team. Finca Cortesín offered all the players and visitors its spectacular golf course where they were able to enjoy three days of golf that made it possible, among many other notes, for 2023 to be unforgettable for women’s golf. Andalusia, and more specifically the Costa del Sol, was the epicentre of this event that was held in Spain for the first time. This phenomenon ensured that nobody wanted to miss such an event and it reached a television audience of over 450 million people. In Spain it reached peaks of over 170,000 viewers (Teledeportes) and abroad it reached peaks of over 734,000 (Sky Sport) in the final, and also had 35% more viewers than at the previous edition. Social networks also pulsated with this event, obtaining a reach of over 180 million people. This is without including the news stories generated in digital and printed media outlets. The unique Finca Cortesín golf course became the perfect place for hosting the best women’s golf, with 465 accredited journalists and 65,010 spectators (52% women- from 62 countries packed the course from 18 to 24 September; 14% came from the United States -the highest figure thus far in European territory, 33% from Britain, and 35% from Spain -two thirds from Andalusia). Sunday was the strongest performing day and the one that had the largest crowd with 18,193 people recorded. In just one week, the most eagerly-awaited women’s tournament during the entire year generated an economic impact of 57 million Euros on the Costa del Sol. Over these 7 days, 3,455 jobs were created and more than 13,000 rooms were booked in 75 different hotels. The Solheim Cup once again went to the European players in a round where Carlota Ciganda won over the public, not only for the point that earned victory on the last day but rather because of their attitude during the entire competition. The victory of Carlota Ciganda over Nelly Korda earned multiple miles-

tones: the Navarre player won all her matches, obtaining 4 points for the European team; the Solheim Cup was tied for the first time in its history; Europe also retained for the first time ever, winning the trophy for the third consecutive time.

An important aspect that is necessary to stress is environmental responsibility during the entire event. In turn, Finca Cortesín golf course highlights the facilities based on management through the use of water that is 100% regenerated.

The organisation, provided by Deporte & Business, reflected its interest in presenting a Solheim Cup that was more adapted to ecology, creating the role of a “sustainability partner”, encompassing companied committed to the environment.

Ayuntamiento Pleno el día 30 de marzo del pasado año. Desveló la primera autoridad municipal que Acciona va a “invertir en un nuevo hotel, que contará con 115 habitaciones, y en la construcción de 100 nuevas residencias que podrán estar vinculadas a los servicios de hotel”. Se trata, a juicio del alcalde, de “un crecimiento para el turismo, un crecimiento para la actividad inmobiliaria y para el sector de la construcción, en un proyecto con una inversión que superará los 100 millones de euros”. Ruiz Boix destacó que este proyecto “va a tener un alto impacto en la creación de empleo, tanto en el desarrollo

de esta actividad de construcción, como sobre todo después con la explotación de este hotel y las residencias vinculadas al hotel”. Por ello, mostró públicamente su apoyo al proyecto “porque para el gobierno de San Roque la prioridad es la creación de empleo y sobre todo la del empleo permanente que supondrá la construcción de este nuevo hotel que sumará más de 250 plazas hoteleras en estas 115 habitaciones de un nuevo hotel”. El proyecto conlleva una inversión superior a 100 millones de euros y un alto impacto en la creación de empleo, tanto en su desarrollo como en su posterior explotación, lo cual, además de potenciar el destino, es la prioridad del Ayuntamiento de San Roque.

Berwik Real invertirá 100 millones en el complejo de San Roque Club II •

Berwik Real Estate invertirá unos 100 millones de euros en el campo de golf municipal San Roque Club II, de la que ha resultado adjudicataria tras la licitación pública para su explotación

Se ha celebrado una reunión con los responsables de la empresa, que gestionará la concesión municipal del campo de golf municipal, tras su adjudicación en el proceso de liciotación pública llevada a efecto por el Ayuntamiento. Se trata de 60 hectáreas de propiedad municipal, “que después de una licitación pública ha obtenido la adjudicación de una empresa que apuesta por el municipio y que realizará una inversión superior a los 100 millones de euros”. La empresa se marca dos objetivos que son: invertir en la mejora sustancial del campo de golf con un nuevo diseño y con la construcción de una casa club, una calle de prácticas y de otras obligaciones que tiene el pliego”. Además, la empresa quiere construir un hotel con una capacidad mínima de 100 habitaciones y con una idea de que

al menos pueda contar con cuatro estrellas, aunque la sociedad Berwik Real Estate está trabajando en la obtención de un proyecto de cinco estrellas”. Esta inversión tendrá un gran impacto en el municipio. El inicio de las mismas dependerá de la situación de sequía ya que no comenzarán las obras mientras perduren las actuales restricciones.
