Some Common Questions . . . Did I get my class? If you sent your self-addressed stamped envelope, a copy of your registration confirmation will be returned. Bring it to your first class. If you have not received confirmation by May 9, please call 881-6700. No places will be held by telephone. No confirmation will be returned without your self-addressed stamped envelope. Can I visit my child’s class? Attendance is limited to registered participants only. The Recreation District has no personnel available to supervise children before or after scheduled classes. Sorry, no parents in children’s classes either. What about full or cancelled classes? The District sets minimum and maximum numbers of participants for classes. We will take a waiting list for any class and will attempt to schedule a new class when a sufficient number has signed up. Classes will be cancelled if the minimum registrations are not received. It is helpful to include a second choice if possible. Are there any age limits? Where “Age Level” is indicated, your child must be that age on the starting day of the program unless otherwise noted. Some partial scholarships are available based on need and funds available. Please call (510) 881-6700 or info@haywardrec.org for more information.
