A single person ration kit was designed to contain food, first aid and rescue items, such as an emergency blanket, pain killers and tinned fruit. The products are packaged using no plastic to ensure that once emptied of their contents the packaging can be easily thrown out with the food waste to biodegrade or easily recycled in the case of tins. The ration kit is packaged in a durable cotton duffel bag that can be re-used.

A ten-person ration kit was also designed to either sustain a larger group of people or to sustain a person for longer. This pack is bigger and contains more items, such as larger tins of food, blankets and cartons of water.
Hannah Jackson Board 04/06
A proposed website which peoplel can visit and use to donate to the cause and allow the International Rescue Committee to help more people.
