Sat 8 September 2pm | Theatre Dance together on a floor filled with bubbles, balloons, glitter and topped by the parachute dance! Get crafty on the Captain Cookie craft tables, enjoy the baby chill out or play areas and a drink in the licensed bar. Created by families for families with world-class DJ Alex Paterson (The Orb) on the decks playing acid house, techno and drum ‘n’ bass classics. BFLF is primarily aimed at families with 0-8 year olds but older siblings are welcome. Fancy dress (optional): piratical! Tickets: £11.50 (child: £8.50). WORKSHOPS ALICE’S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND Mon 30 July-Fri 10 August Follow Alice down the rabbit hole for a fantastical adventure as our summer school stages Lewis Carroll’s classic tale. Make new friends, learn new skills and rehearse a show all in 5 days! There is also a chance to perform the show to family and friends on Friday at 4pm. Come along and enjoy The Hawth Summer School’s fantastic production based on the hit 1976 film. Two gangs in a fictitious city populated only by children are in a rivalry of Capone-ian standards. Dandy Dan’s gang has gotten the upper hand since acquiring the ‘splurge’ gun (a weapon that shoots whipped cream).

When a lion is chased out of town, a little girl, Iris, helps him to find somewhere to hide. Iris embarks on a mission to squash her new friend into a variety of sneaky tight spots, as the misinformed town folk try and track him down.
