Kasparov, Kramnik öğretemezsiniz. Klasik satranç partilerinin öğretilmesi çok önemlidir. Çocuklarımıza öğreteceğimiz her şeyi klasik oyunlarda bulabilirsiniz. Ben bir test uyguladım: Polonya ve Slovenya’daki çalışmalarımda 16 yaş oyuncularından, başlangıcından bu güne Dünya şampiyonlarını saymalarını istedim. Başarılı sonuç yüzde 10. Demek ki iki sorun var:

Satranç Çalışmanın Fiziksel Beklentileri ve Uygulamaları Öğretimde fizyoloji ve psikoloji iç içedir. Çok daha karmaşık ve güç gerektiren konu bu. Kime, kimlere, kaç yaşındakilere; neyi, nasıl öğretmeli? Gerçekten karmaşık. Bunun bir yazılı yöntemi yok, her antrenörün yöntemi diğerinden ayrı. Bir yerden başlamalı.

Önce tarihsel gelişim! Satranç eğitiminde satranç tarihine gereken önemin verilmediğini gözledim. Öğrencilerin özellikle genel satranç tarihini bilmeleri gerekir. Satranç tarihi, tarihteki turnuvalardır. Öğrenciler çoğunlukla bilgisayarla çalıştıkları için tarihsel gelişimden uzak kalıyorlar.

Geçmişte oynanmış bir partiyi incelerken sırf partiyi göstermekle kalmamalı, partiyle ilgili hikayeler ve anekdotlar da anlatmalısınız. 1. e4, e5 2. Af3 ile anlatmaya başlarsak çocuğa ilginç gelmez, oyunun hikayesini de anlatmak gerekir. Böyle daha yararlı olursunuz, konuya öğrencinizin ilgisini daha çok çekersiniz. Antrenör olarak çocuk dilini bulmalıyız ve kullanmalıyız.

Satrancın tarihsel gelişimi çocuklar için neden önemlidir?

Altı ay önce satranca başlamış bir oyuncu düşünün, alsa eline satranç ansiklopedisini, orada ne görür? Bir sürü varyant. Bunun ne yararı olur ona, varyantlar içinde kendisi kaybolur. Antrenörün en birinci işi öğrencisine yararlı bilgileri seçmektir, her konuda, sadece açılışta değil. Satranç tarihi asla göz ardı edilemez ama arada konuyla ilgili espri de yapmak lazımdır, dikkati canlı tutmak için.

Paul Charles Morphy (1837 – 1884) Satrancın tarihsel gelişimini çocuk, kendi gelişim evrelerinde yaşamalı ve bu ikisini özdeşleştirmelidir. 7 yaşındaki bir çocuk Morphy’nin oyunlarına daha yatkındır. Ona

Steinitz, Lasker, resimleriyle bol bol sigara ve kahve içen bir görüntü verirler. Bunun nedeni 19. Yüzyılda satranç kahvelerde oynanırdı. Bu durum çok normaldi; o zamanki yaşam tarzı buydu. Onların örnek alabilecekleri kimse yoktu. Ama onlara kahve oyuncusu diyemeyiz.

Birçok satranççı tenis oynadı: Spassky, Fischer, Karpov, Kramnik… Spassky, tenis oynamayı aşırıya götürmüştü. 15 dakika satranç oynar tenise koşardı. Ona “Tenis Oyuncusu” derlerdi. Ünlü tenisçi Boris Becker de tenis turnuvalarına satranç oynayarak hazırlanırmış. Yine ünlü Fransız tenisçi Borotra, tenisi bırakınca satranç kulübüne devam ederdi. Paul Keres, 1946’da teniste çiftlerde yarı final oynadı. Goldanov, 1948’de hem satrançta hem

Michail Tschigorin (1850-1908) Sportif satranç Capablanca’yla başladı. Daha sonra tenis oynamaya başladı, her fırsatta tenis oynardı. Bu, iki yönden önemli ve yararlıdır: 1. Fiziksel aktivite psikolojik baskıyı azaltır. 2. Fiziksel kondisyon arttıkça psikolojik kondisyon da artar.

Kompleksleri de vardı belki ama Nimzoviç sorunu doğru kavrayan oyuncu ve antrenördü. 1929 Karlsbad, onun en başarılı olduğu turnuvadır. Turnuvadan 6 ay önce özel jimnastik programına başladı. Meller adlı spor hocasıyla çalıştı. Bu yüzden Nimzoviç’in uyguladığı fiziksel gelişim programına “Meller Sistem” denir. Şimdilerde yüzlerce fiziksel çalışma sistemi var ama Meller Sistem en iyisidir. Satranç, sporcuların fiziksel hazırlıkları için yapı taşıdır. Karlsbad turnuvasından sonra Nimzoviç, başarısında fiziksel aktivitenin ne denli etkili olduğunu yazdığı kitapta belirtmiştir. Bu çok önemlidir çünkü ilk kez bir büyükusta turnuva nasıl hazırlandığını anlatıyor.

Mikhail Moiseyevich Botvinnik (1911 – 1995) Botvinnik’in gözlerinde sorun vardı, sonunda kör oldu. Son 6 yılını karanlıkta yaşadı. Kayak yapmayı severdi, yüzerdi, kürek çekerdi, her gün 1 saat jimnastik yapardı. 1975 Dünya Gençler Şampiyonasında bize önerilerde bulundu. O zaman 70 yaşındaydı. Bize jimnastik egzersizleri gösterdi ve aynen yapmamızı istedi. Gösterdiği egzersizi ben ancak 30 sn yapabildim, Vladimirov hiç yapamadı. Bana, “Sen, bundan önce GM olacaksın.” dedi. Dediği çıktı, ben Vladimirov’dan 10 yıl önce GM oldum. Botvinnik Sistem sadece hazırlık sistemi değildir, turnuva sonrasını da içerir.

Aaron Nimzovich (1886 – 1935) Fine ve Krogius’un yazdıkları iki kitap vardır satranç fiziksel gelişim konusunda. Rudolf Spielmann da Satranç Sporcusunun Sağlığı başlıklı çok önemli bir makale yazmıştır. Spielmann’dan sonra Botvinnik’in de Hazırlık Sistemim adlı bir kitabı vardır bu konuda. Bu kitaba göre Botvinnik’in Turnuvaya Hazırlık Planı şöyledir:

şampiyonluğu kazanamadı. Bunda ana kuzusu olmasının etkisi büyüktür. Botvinnik, Kasparovla ilgilenmeye başladı ve sorunu anladı. Nikitin’den Kasparov’un antrenörü olmasını istedi. Ve şunu kararlaştırdılar: Kasparov spor yapmalıdır!

Satranç Müfredatı VIb: GM Adrian Mihalcisin: Seminer Notları Satrançta Fiziksel Antrenmanın Önemi, Bireysel Bakış Açısı ve Bir Kasparov Analizi Her oyuncu için diğerinden farklı yaklaşım gerekir. Bir oyuncu için seçilen fiziksel aktivite diğer oyuncu için kötü olabilir. Timman için Botvinnik sistemini yüzde yüz uygulamak istemişler. Timman’ın yaşam tarzı iyi değildi. Kafelerde vakit geçirirdi, içerdi. Timman ve bir arkadaşı Botvinnik sistemle satranç turnuvasına hazırlanmışlar. Đlk dört oyunu kaybetmişler. “Botvinnik sistem hatalı” demişler..

Garry Kimovich Kasparov (1963- ) 20 yaşına kadar Kasparov’un özgüveni yoktu. Genç Kasparov’un bana karşı bir oyununu hatırlıyorum: ben 1.e4 oynadım, c6 sürecekmiş gibi yaptı, taşı bırakmadan c5 sürdü. Oynamak istiyor ama korkuyordu. Korkuyorsanız oynayamazsınız, başarılı olamazsınız. Kasparov da bana karşı daha ilk hamlesinde kaybetti. Botvinnik okulunun en yetenekli oyuncusu Akopian’dı ama o çok tembeldi. O yüzden Dünya şampiyonu olamadı. Nikitin, Kasparov’a fiziksel çalışma yaptırdı. Gerçek adam kişiliğini bulmasını sağladı. Onu ana kuzusu olmaktan çıkardı. Koşmak satranç için iyi değildir ama Kasparov çok koştu ve çok yüzdü. Fiziksel çalışmayla Kasparov çocukluktan çıktı sonra da futbol oynamaya başladı. Fiziksel çalışma onu yeniden biçimlendirdi. Đki tip satranç oyuncusu vardır:

Jan Timman (1951- ) Eski yaşam tarzlarına dönmüşler, kazanmaya başlamışlar. Onlar bu sisteme turnuvadan iki hafta önce başlamışlar. Kusur, sistemde değildi ki. Yanlış plan bazen doğru sonuç verebilir, başarılı olabilir. Kasparov Baku’da doğdu. Türklerinkine benzeyen bir yaşam tarzı vardı. Çok iyi bir ailesi vardı. Babası, o 7 yaşındayken kanserden öldü. Çok hareketli, sinirli, yerinde duramayan öğrencilere ağır sporlar yaptırılabilir. Đkinci gruptaki öğrencilere ağır spor yaptırmaya gerek yoktur. Smyslov, fiziksel olarak güçlüydü. Gurevich de öyledir. Onların, doğuştan güçlü fiziksel yapıları var. Ve bunlar gereksiz şeyler yapıyorlar: Çok fazla kahve içiyorlar, çok sigara içiyorlar, her şeyin çoğu zararlı olur. Korchnoi da öyle fiziği güçlü bir oyuncudur.

Milli takımlar antrenörü GM Mikhail Gurevich, Ankara’da 2. Kademe antrenörlük kursunda 40 saat süreyle teknik taktik, satranç öğretimi dersleri verdi. Dersleri rusça veren Büyükusta’ya 2004 Türkiye birincisi IM Turhan Yılmaz tercümanlık yaptı. Engin genel kültürü ve derin analizleriyle dikkati çeken büyükusta, Türk oyuncularının atak oynamayı çok sevdiklerini ama savunmaya önem vermediklerini, hele oyun sonu çalışmaya hiç yanaşmadıklarını gözlemlediğini belirtti.

Karpov’un fiziksel yapısı zayıftı. 18 yaşında fiziksel aktivite uygulamaya başladı. Çok fazla tenis oynardı, onun için koşu yararlı değildi. Kasparov’un sakinleştirilmesi gereken yapısı vardı. Karpov, durgun bir insandı, o yüzden tenis ona iyi geldi. Karpov’un özel tenis antrenörü vardı. Sokolov, Reshevsky, Bronstein fiziksel antrenman yapmayan ünlü oyuncular…Đşte onlar Dünya Şampiyonu olabildiler mi? Bent Larsen de hiç fiziksel antrenman yapmazdı. Fiziksel antrenman satranççılar arasında çok iyi tanımlanamamış ve onun önemi iyi anlaşılamamıştır. Bu, çok büyük bir problem. Satranç Müfredatı VIII: Başarıya giden yol

Bin dokuz yüz doksan üç yılı, Ağustos ayında iki hafta, güzel yurdumuzun değişik illerinden bir grup öğretmen arkadaşla beraber, Giresun'da hizmet içi kursa katıldım. Bir hafta sonu, iki gün Trabzon ve Giresun'un pek çok yaylasını gezdik. O güzelim, cennet gibi yaylaları göremeyen çok kişi var. Ama namını, şanını, duymayan yoktur. Benim anlatmak istediğim ise farklı bir olay. Gezimizin ikinci günü, ikindi vakti, iki minibüsle, Kümbet Yaylası'na tekrar geldik. Orada bir grup jandarma ile karşılaştık. Sohbet ettik. Hatta bazı arkadaşlarımızın hemşerileri dahi vardı. Dolayısıyla sohbet bir hayli, tatlandı ve uzadı. Askerler yöreyi çok iyi biliyorlardı. Bize Kümbet Yaylası Şenlikleri'nin yapıldığı, şenlik yerini görmemizi tavsiye ettiler. Biz de onlarla vedalaştıktan sonra minibüslere binerek sözü edilen şenlik yerine doğru hareket ettik. Şoförümüz karşıdan gideceğimiz yeri gösterdi. Bir tepenin yamacında, ormanlar arasında, stadyum büyüklüğünde, çok az yamaçlığı olan, yemyeşil, çayırlık bir yer. Aramızdaki mesafe ise birkaç yüz metre. Arabadan çeşitli sesler yükseliyor.

Mustafa Yıldız’ın editörlüğünü yaptığı, 3 yıllık çalışma programı sunan, Başarıya giden yol kitabının (IM Peicho Chonev Peev, 416 sayfa) arka kapak yazısını alıntılıyoruz: Binlerce çocuğun arzusudur, satrancı öğrenmek ve daha iyi oynamak. Binlerce anne ve baba çocuklarına yardıma hazırdır. Onların önlerindeki yollar farklıdır. Ancak, her durumda, her koşulda anne, baba ve antrenörler aynı soruyla karşı karşıyadır: "Çocuklarımıza satrancı nasıl öğretelim?" Sayın antrenörler, kurs öğrencileri, öğretmenler ve siz satrançseverler, gençlere bu güzel oyunu tanıtan, gelişmelerine yardımcı olan “Herkes için Satranç Eğitiminin Birleştirilmiş Programı”nı içeren Başarıya giden yol, işte önümüzdedir. IV-I kategori satranççılar yetiştirmek amacıyla yazılan Başarıya giden yol, özellikle ilk öğretim 6. 7. 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin satranç öğrenimi için çok uygun bir programdır. Program, kesintisiz, sistematik, üç yıllık çalışmayı öngörmektedir. Bu kitap yardımı ile ülkemizdeki antrenörler, satranç öğreticileri, birleştirilmiş satranç eğitimi programına kavuşmuş olacaklardı. Bu kitap, antrenörlerin görevlerinin yerine getirmesine katkıda bulunacak, yeni başlayanlardan usta adaylarına değin her satranççıya yardımcı olacaktır.

Ben karşıya, çevreye, sözü edilen yere baktım; hiç bir çiçek göremedim. Arkadaşlara söyledim: -Onlar çiçek değil. -Çiçek, -Değil, -Çiçek. Sözü edilen yerde, gerçekten çiçeğe benzeyen, beyaz beyaz, çok güzel bir şeyler görünüyor. Görünümleri ise futbol topu, su kovası, büyük balkabağı, lahana büyüklüğünde. Gerçekten bir çiçek bahçesi. Çok güzel görünüyor. Çiçek değil ama, ne olduklarını bilemiyorum. 433

Çiçeklerin arasında(!), minibüsümüz birkaç tur attı. Birkaç sekiz çizdi. Arabada hiç kimseden çıt çıkmadı. Şoförümüz de direksiyonu geldiğimiz yola döndürdü. Đstikametimiz belirdi. Dönüş çoktaaan başlamıştı. Diğer minibüste bizi takip ediyordu. Sessizliği şöyle bir söz bozdu:

-Kesinlikle çiçek değil. Eğer onlar çiçekse bugünkü, yemekler, çay, kahve, meşrubatlar, hepsi benden. Ya çiçek değilse siz ne yapacaksınız? Nasıl olsa kazanacağım. Biraz da havadan attım. - Peki çiçek değilse ne? -Ne olduğunu bilmiyorum ama kesinlikle çiçek değil. -Çiçek! -Değil! -……. -Arkadaşım yanılıyorsun. Çok masrafa girersin. Bizim masrafımız çok olur. -Kesinlikle yanılmam. Siz bana ne ödül alacaksınız?

-Arkadaşım: ‘’Haklısınız, biz yanıldık.’’ Ona cevabım şu oldu: ''Keşke, ben yanılsaydım.'' Yine sessizlik… Acaba beni haklı çıkaran ne idi, sizler tahmin edebildiniz mi? Düşünün, düşünün tahmininizi söyleyin. Tahmininiz? Gördüklerimiz, güzel yurdumuzun, pek çok yerinde benzerini, maalesef her zaman gördüğümüz ve görebileceğimiz bir benzerlikti. Boş veya içi yiyecek içecek artığı ile dolu poşetler, gazeteler, boş meşrubat şişeleri, vs. Yani …

Minibüsümüz yavaş yavaş ilerliyor, bizler de tartışarak, pazarlık yaparak yolumuza devam ediyoruz. Karşıda görünenlerin ne olduğunu da çok merak ediyorum. Çiçek olmadıklarını kesinlikle biliyorum ama, acaba ne olabilirler:

Benim, Karadenizli veya başka bir yöredeki bir kimseye hiçbir kastım, hiçbir kötü niyetim yok ama maalesef benzer görüntüleri veya başkalarını sizler de, pek çok zaman görüyorsunuzdur. Yanlış mı?

Çiçek olmadıklarını nasıl mı biliyorum? Gayet kolay. *Bu şekilde bir çiçek olsa; daha önce, ya işitir, ya bir yerde okur, ya da resmini görürdük. Böyle bir şey olmadı. *Đki günden beri, aynı şartları taşıyan yaylalarda geziyoruz. Böyle bir çiçek olsa, elbette başka yerlerde de görürdük. Görmedik. * Başka hiçbir yerde yetişmeyen yani, bir stat kadar yerde yetişen, endemik bir çiçek olamaz. Diyelim ki oldu. Daha önce onu da, ya duyar ya da resmini görürdük. Böyle bir şey de olmadı. *Tüm tahminlerimi bir kenara bıraksam, böyle bir çiçek, yine de var diyelim, kısa süre önceki şenliklerde ezilecek, mahvolacak, henüz çiçek açamayacaklardı. O şenliklerde binlerce kişi gezdi. Horon tepti. Piknik yaptı. Güreşti. Küçük bebeler yattı yuvarlandı. Çadırlar kuruldu… Böyle bir yerdeki, bu kadar ezilen, çiğnenen, hiçbir çiçek, kısa süre sonra, asla çiçek açamaz. Hele hele o iklimde ve yükseklikte asla, mümkün olmaz. Sıcak iklim kuşağında belki olabilir. Kesinlikle çiçek olamazlardı ama acaba ne olabilirlerdi? Ben tahmin edemedim. Acaba sizler tahmin edebildiniz mi? Bir taraftan merak ederek, tartışarak, diğer taraftan da benim ödülümü konuşarak çiçek bahçesine(!) vardık. Bahçedeyiz(!)

Kimbilir kaç ağaç gölgesinden, kaç piknik yerinden, kaç su başından yukarıdaki manzaralar karşısında ayrıldınız? Deniz kenarında, erik yeseniz, çekirdeklerini ne yaparsınız? Bir turist çekirdekleri, poşete koyup çöpe atıyor. Đzmarit, kağıt, çöp vs. leri, temizlik seven medeni kişiler, ellerinde çöp kutusu buluncaya kadar taşıyıp, çöpe atıyor. Maalesef bazılarının ne yaptıklarını görmek için, kaldırımlara, yollara bakmanız yeterli sanırım. Bazı esnaflarımız da temizlik olsun diye, çöpleri, kaldırımdan yola süpürüyor. Orada bırakıyor. Arabalardan yollara neler atılıyor. Çevreye atılan, cam şişeler yangına sebep olabiliyor. Temizlik imandandır; imandan gelir. Đman da sadece sözle, ibadetle olmaz. Bitoon eyes PH team spot for Chess Olympiad Published in the Sun.Star Cebu newspaper on March 19, 2012. CEBUANO chess Grandmaster Richard Bitoon is now in the thick of preparation for the upcoming battle to earn a slot in the Philippine team that will see action in the World Chess Olympiad in Istanbul, Turkey in September. Bitoon is among the 16 GMs in the country who will be competing against the other hopefuls to make the five-man team, who will wage war against the best players of the world. “I’ll be competing in the final selection tournament for the World Chess Olympiad. I hope to get another chance to participate in the gathering of the top chess players around the world,” Bitoon told Sun.Star Cebu. The National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) had the option to pick only the best players but they opted to hold a selection tournament in June to give the other players a chance to play for the country.

“The finals selection tournament is in June. All the GMs, IMs, FMs and strong players in the country will get the chance to be in the Philippine team if we will have an outstanding performance,” Bitoon said. Expected to take a slot is the country’s no. 1 player GM Wesley So as well as no. 2 player GM Joey Antonio. However, the likes of Bitoon, GMs Oliver Barbosa, Mark Paragua, Darwin Laylo and John Paul Gomez as well as the young IMs Oliver Dimakiling and Jan Emmanuel Garcia and Fide Master Paolo Bersamina are also in the running for a slot in the five-man RP team. Bitoon, however, is not new to competing in the biennial world chess Olympiad as he already played in 1998 in Elista, Russia, in 2000 in Istanbul, Turkey and in 2010 in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. As part of his preparation, Bitoon is scheduled to play tournaments in Iloilo, Manila and will hold a simultaneous game exhibit against the top junior players in Cebu in May.
