Thisyear’sHarrogateMusicFes�valwilltake placeacrossthreelongweekends,beginning onthe29thJune.Eachweekendfeaturesa seriesofcarefullycuratedperformancesthat celebratethehistoryandlegacyoftheFes�val andconsiderourinnova�veandexci�ng future.We’redelightedtowelcomebacksome Fes�valfavourites–ofcourseOddsocksreturn, withafreshtakeonShakespeare,andJulian LloydWebberreturnstoHarrogateinapostpandemichomecoming.A�erleadingthe world-classlineupforourvirtualpremiereof brasspiece Eclipse inlockdown,trumpet virtuosoMikeLova�premiereshisBrass PackrighthereinHarrogate.

We’vebuiltareputa�onforbringingthebest andthebrightesttoHarrogate,and2023isno differentasourGrandOpeningConcert featuresinterna�onallyrenownedorchestra Chineke!whowillopenoursummerseason withtheirHarrogatedebut.

We’rewelcomingthisyear’sGuestCurator, RobinGreen,toheadupanexci�ngweekend residencyfeaturingtwelvemusiciansinten concertsoverfourdays.Expectallgenresof musicacrossthisveryspecialweekend–from MozarttoQueen,DowlandtoBillyJoel. Scotland-basedAmericanconductor KellenGray hasearnedareputa�onasaversa�leandimagina�ve ar�st.KellenisthecurrentAssistantConductoroftheRoyalSco�shNa�onalOrchestraandAssociate ConductoroftheCharlestonSymphony(USA).

BorninFrance,soloist ArmandDjikoloum studiedatConservatoireNa�onalSupérieurMusiqueet DansedeLyonandwithPhilippeTondreattheHochschulefürMusikSaar.In2021hewasaprizewinnerattheYoungClassicalAr�stsTrust(YCAT)Interna�onalAudi�ons.
