Luz Janet Castro is currently a Sales Business Manager in the Miami market. Previously as a Market Development Specialist, she was in charge of assessing the Florida healthcare market to create and implement regional marketing strategies. She has also worked on marketing localization, translation, and training initiatives in Latin America.
Zeferino Cisneros, Executive Manager for GE Healthcare Border Operations (BOP), began his GE career in 2000 where he graduated from OMLP and since then, has been progressively growing in different roles including materials, quality, operations, and manufacturing project management.
Ms. Castro has led the Diabetes Chapter of Johnson & Johnson’s Employee Research Group, HOLA, since 2009 where she has forged relationships with strategic partners and has served as a diversity advisor. Ms. Castro is a Co-Founder of the National Hispanic Sales Network Northeast Region, an organization committed to the advancement of the Hispanic professional. Ms. Castro received her B.A. at Rutgers University, where she also received a Mini-MBA in Social Media Marketing. Ms. Castro also serves on the media team at her local church.

He has been leading several plant transformations where processes and results were used as best practices for supply chain framework, received multiple awards in his career including an operational excellence award, top productivity business, first place globally two years in a row in lean manufacturing transformation and a world class manufacturing deployment system. Under Mr. Cisneros’ leadership BOP has grown from $180 million in sales in 2010 to $650 million in 2013 through multiple NPI transfers, execution and organic growth. The operation is VPP star certified where people engagement was mentioned as “best in class.” BOP has also been Global Ergo cup finalist for two years in a row and is poised for continuous growth and operational expansion.
