Call for bids for catering for event with Caribou Legs, as he presents to our community ...our culture committee alongside Social Development will review all bids for providing lunch at this all day gathering. For approximation of bout 100200 people. We do require you to have your food safe certificate. We would like to invite you to help us welcome Caribou Legs to our Reserve on Feb.8th he will start off at an assembly and culture presentation done by our kids at the school, we will then all gather at the hall for some lunch, there after Caribou legs will do a presentation of his life and other topics. Please bring a friend or family member and come out and enjoy this day with our guest.
News from Lucy Scow Social Dev. Manager Special Needs I am asking all Income assistance Recipients to please come into see me at the office within this month of Feb. we need you to spend your Special needs as soon as possible. We have accounts with certain businesses in town, I can give you the list when you come into see me. We no longer allow personal purchases, cheques will not be issued to any individuals. Away I will be away all of next week from Feb 7-10 2017 I will be back in the office Monday Feb. 13 2017. If you need things done by then or is time crunching please bring to my attention by Friday the 3rd. I will do my best to work on it and complete by Monday. Culture night We are starting up culture nights or have already started culture nights and have so many things planned in regards to all aspects of our traditions, cultural dancing, protocols, art, language, singing, traditional food prep, art work, regalia making etc. We will be having culture nights every Monday evenings starting at 6 to 9PM.
