The Mexican practice added a London base last year in addition to its five offices in the Americas, where GVA is particularly active in Mexico, Colombia and the Caribbean. GVA was placed fifth in the South American rankings this year and reports that most of its work is currently in the mixed-use, residential and masterplanning sectors. In 2017 the practice is hoping to get into the government and education sectors in Latin America. Notable completions this year include Panama residential projects La Maison and Hyde as well as a retail, offices and hotel development in Bogotá, Colombia.
