The egyptians houses were made of mud bricks, every body rich and poor lived in mud bricks houses.

The difference lay in how big they were and in the decoration. Rich people houses had more rooms and painted walls.

The streets were narrow, crowded, noisy and filthy. There was no much space for building so the houses were tall, sometime up to 4 floors high.
