Colouration
Colours and embellishes floors Decorative Concrete Guard® Color is not a "paint" intended to cover the floor with an opaque coating. Instead it is a semi-transparent decorative product which is uniformly absorbed into the fabric of the concrete surface without modifying the texture or the mineral effect of the substrate. Its unique acrylic and silicate based formulation facilitates the excellent penetration and setting of the colours. Decorative Concrete Guard® Color sets perfectly and offers a long usable life: it hardens by reacting with the screed.
• A design touch for interior floors Available in a wide range of colours, Decorative Concrete Guard® Color allows you to give floors an attractive facelift, enabling you to "experiment" with traditional shades as well as metallic finish. With Decorative Concrete Guard® Color, you can let your imagination run wild as you create patina, shaded and watered effects… or more uniform finishes.

Provides long-term protection against water and soiling Decorative Concrete Guard® Protect protects floors against water penetration, greasy or oily stains and day-to-day soiling. Floors will be easier to maintain. Decorative Concrete Guard® Protect brings up the true colour.

Protects floors with a high resistance wearing wax Decorative Concrete Guard® Finish is designed to protect floors against traffic and micro scratches. It is also used for floor maintenance. Applied pure or diluted, Decorative Concrete Guard® Finish makes it possible to regain that brand-new appearance for the waxed surface and keeps it clean for far longer. Decorative Concrete Guard® Finish wax also enables small scratches to be filled.

Finishing with Decorative Concrete Guard® Finish • Applied in 2 thin coats with a microfiber flat mop.
Colouring with Decorative Concrete Guard® Color • Applied in 2 to 3 applications with a flexible trowel coating, a thick sponge or a low pressure gun for paint. • Drying time between each application: 30 minutes.
• Drying time between each application: 1 hour. • Drying time before use: 6 hours. • Drying before handing in total circulation: 24 hours. Use a high-speed mono-brush (400 rpm) fitted with a white disc to increase the resistance to abrasion and scratches.
• Delay before step 2: about 1 hour.
Maintenance Step

To maintain waxed concrete and to keep it looking 'as new', we advise that you use Decorative Concrete Guard® Finish pure or diluted in water. Apply on a weekly basis for floors experiencing normal wear and tear (entrances, offices…) and on a monthly basis for homes (lounges, kitchens, corridors, stairs…).

The Decorative Concrete Guard® system makes it possible to create a decorative concrete much cheaper than classic decorative concretes.The different products comprised in our system have a high coverage per litre which means that a few products is enough to treat a large surface. The quality of the substrate is the main factor in the final appearance and quality of Decorative Concrete Guard®. The floor must be perfectly flat. The conditions of application and substrate preparation must meet French unified code of practice DTU 59.3. Colour differences may modify the final visual effect. The Decorative Concrete Guard® system cannot correct defects of appearance in the substrate (roughness, unevenness, etc.). We recommend the application of Decorative Concrete Guard® by one of our approved users.

A WAXED CONCRETE SOLUTION PRODUCED IN LINE WITH YOUR PREFERENCES A uniquely attractive finish Just imagine the patina, shaded or watered effects or the more uniform looks you can achieve. The work of the application agent and the equipment used have an impact upon the final finish.
A range of 15 original colours • 14 standard colours • 1 metallic colour: aluminium. The final look depends on the original colour of the substrate (concrete, screed or self-levelling compound), on the application tool and on the number of coats. The final colour will always result from the combination of the colour of Decorative Concrete Guard® Color and the initial colour of the floor to be treated. The chart shows the available colours, not the final result of the Decorative Concrete Guard® system. The colours in this range are non contractual.
