m a p C t A l l Abou GSSEF Camp fees include trained staff supervision, housing, activities, program materials, field trips (admission prices for day trips), meals (unless otherwise noted), transportation costs as described (for day trips) and a patch. Camp sessions offer a variety of core camp elements and outdoor skills, such as fire building, outdoor cooking, swimming, archery (age 8+), canoeing, sing-alongs and s’mores. We think you should know that the camp experiences are unique and fun, but it is different than home and school, because some activities are held outdoors. Our camps are not air-conditioned, and summer in Florida means girls will experience heat and humidity. We take precautions to rest and stay cool too. However, being outdoors can mean exposure to the elements (plants, dirt, water, mud, insects, wind, weather and some whining too). It’s important to discuss these elements with your girl prior to registration to set the expectations for a great summer experience.
