Dippin’ Dolphins For girls entering grades 2–3 Discover the water wonders of Camp Hardee! Spend time playing in the water learning fun water games, practicing your swimming skills, and learning how to canoe. Experience other camp activities like campfires, arts & crafts, and camp songs. You may even get to see a dolphin from the dock at camp! Counselors will stay in cabins with the campers.

Islands in the Sun

J U LY 1 5 – 2 0

For girls entering grades 4–5 Experience the peaceful paradise of Camp Hardee. Learn some basic yoga poses overlooking the Pamlico River, and relax at camp by lounging by the pool. You will also make your own bath products, paint your nails, and make face masks while enjoying the other fun activities at camp.

Princess Quest

Dock of the Bay

For girls entering grades 2–3 Follow the trail to camp to go on your own princess quest! Create your own princess tiaras and jewelry, make new friends, go on a scavenger hunt, and solve a magical mystery. You will also swim, canoe, sing camp songs, and roast S’mores over the campfire. Counselors will stay in cabins with the campers.

Fun, Fashion, & Fads For girls entering grades 4–5 Fads in clothing, in music, and in every area of our lives come and go. At camp learn about the fashion industry, while you have fun with other fashionistas designing the next camp trend. Who knows … you might see everyone wearing your fad next summer!

North to Alaska

For girls entering grades 6–8 Keep your cool in the summer sun as you enjoy the peace and quiet of camp. Try an early-morning polar bear swim and make your own ice cream, all while making new friends. Learn how to navigate by the stars to find your way north to Alaska and also how to navigate the crazy maze of relationships. Discover how to make and keep true friends.

For girls entering grades 6–8 Spend your time boating on the river, swimming in the pool, singing karaoke, and enjoying lots of other fun activities. Learn how to canoe and kayak, and see what camp looks like from the Pamlico River. After you’re back on land, have a picnic lunch. At night, enjoy the view of the night sky while sitting on the dock.

Come Sail Away For girls entering grades 7–10 In this beginning sailing program, learn that sailing is more than simply being pushed and pulled by the wind. For most people, sailing is meeting new friends, enjoying nature’s beauty and challenge, and sharing a special fellowship with all boaters. In this session, campers will learn all about boating safety, rigging, the wind, how a sail works, tacking, jibbing, capsize recoveries, steering, anchoring, and more. Campers will need to be able to swim 100 yards and tread water for five minutes.
