Pat, Audrey and Cheri are three season ticket holders of Pitt women’s basketball, who rarely miss a game. Ardent supporters of the team, the trio served as guest coaches for the first game of the season against Seton Hill.
G Eva Blum – Feb. 19, 2011
Eva Blum is a devoted follower of the Pitt women’s basketball team. She joined the legal division of PNC Bank-Pittsburgh in 1977, became vice president of PNC Bank Corp. in 1986, and was elected senior vice president and chief compliance counsel in 1990. Blum – a two-time breast cancer survivor – served as guest coach at the annual Pink the Petersen game.
H Renny Clark and John Wilds – Nov. 24, 2010
Renny Clark and John Wilds served as guest coaches against Duke. Wilds is the Assistant Vice Chancellor to Community Relations while Clark is Pitt’s Vice Chancellor for Community Initiatives and Chief of Staff in the Office to the Chancellor. Both Wilds and Clark are long-time devoted supporters of the Pitt women’s basketball program and of the University of Pittsburgh.

I Dr. Deborah Stinner Ferrington – Nov. 17, 2010
Dr. Stinner Ferrington is an Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biophysics at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Ferrington played volleyball and basketball at Pitt and was among the first class of women to receive scholarships. She received the Varsity Letter Club “Awardee of Distinction” in the most recent class – awarded the honor on Oct. 15, 2011.
J Melissa and Richard Carrigan – Dec. 19 and 20, 2010
Richard Carrigan attended the University of Pittsburgh on a basketball athletic scholarship, closing his academic endeavors with a MBA from the Katz School of Business. He is the founder of four companies, ranging from a venture into real estate to alternative energy sources. He and his wife, Melissa – who call Las Vegas home – are the proud parents of three children: Grant, Sydney and Brady.
