143 Jerome Lane owns three season rebounding records including total rebounds and total offensive and defensive rebounds. In 1986-87, Lane became the only player in school history to lead NCAA Division I in a statistical category when he finished with a 13.5 rebounds per game average. Lane became a member of Pitt’s 20-20 club with a 20-point, 21-rebound performance vs. Connecticut on Feb. 12, 1987.

The 2002-03 senior class of Brandin Knight, Ontario Lett and Donatas Zavackas was credited with putting Pitt basketball back on the map. The trio accumulated an 89-40 record over their four-year period from 1999-03.
