Learning Community/Hybrid Course: Writing For The Movies If you love movies and have dreams of being a writer, then this learning community is perfect for you! As we study film history, exploring concepts like Classical Hollywood Style, the Studio System, the Rise and Fall and Rise Again of Hollywood, and Postmodernism in Film, we will create poems, short fiction pieces, and a screenplay in response to our shared viewing experiences, lectures, readings, and discussions. This course combines ENGL&236 – Creative Writing I and HIST 120 – History Of The Movies for 10 credits.
