(This waiver is not for students intending to use credits for increasing credentials or salary increases.)

Non-Resident waiver—U.S. citizens and INS-approved permanent residents are eligible for this waiver while establishing their Washington state residency. International and other—Visa classifications that are not eligible to establish residency, including international students.

State support of higher education The state of Washington contributes to the cost of students’ education through support of basic instructional cost and state-supported financial aid. The table below indicates state support by tuition category for students attending Green River Community College for academic year 2011-2012.

In addition to state support of the basic instructional cost, students also receive state supported financial aid, including that provided from the local institutional financial aid fund (3.5 percent). These amounts are represented by the table below:
