ACTUALITY 

 

Number of accidents shows that children often find themselves in emergency situations on the streets and roads. Habits of enshrined in childhood, last a lifetime, so one of the important tasks in providing road safety is the prevention of child road traffic injuries in pre-school. Observance of safety rules of life should be recognized necessity. This is why our task is to develop a stereotype of children of safe road behavior.


Safe road The world is changing every day. To catch the rhythm of life, children need to know how children in other countries live, what they think and dream. Protect your and others health on the road should all around the world. It is interesting to know what methods teachers use to acquaint children with the rules of the road. Share new ideas. To know the rules of other countries well have been there many times, but we want to provide absentee children the opportunity to learn this in the course of the project


Expected results: ď Ź Children will learn how children from other countries studying road rules, how to use road signs in fun way, learn better communication, learn how to make photos and create presentation using Power Point, also how to create simple Website. ď Ź


Languages: EN Pupil`s age: 5 - 7 Tools to be used: Audio conference, Chat, e-mail, Forum, MP3, Other software (PowerPoint, video, pictures and drawings), Video conference, Virtual learning environment (communities, virtual classes...), Web publishing Aims: Cross cultural integration. Improving language abilities. Using IT in education. Work process:  1. September - Meet the partners Event "Safe Road”. At the event in the form of a game is given an initial idea of the road and rules of behavior on it. Event changing photos.  2 .October - Create the album "The Alphabet of the road." Album of existing main road signs.  3. November - Create posters with parents "My way to nursery".  4. December - Christmas mini-play for Santa: “About road traffic”.  5. January - Create the album "The newest road signs." Album of invented by children characters.  6. February - Create presentations in PowerPoint: «Right-Wrong".  7. March - Familiarity with “the road alphabet "of other countries. Planning the video conference about children from other countries creating new road sings.  8. April - To equip play area with natural materials for gaming exercises with road traffic roles. Children will be involved in it‘s creation.  9. May - Presentment the project to community, teachers, parents and partners.

Developing environment for the project:    

didactic games according to the rules of traffic; learning models; literature on according themes, encyclopedias, reference books; building constructor; transport: special transport (ambulance, fire and etc.), building machines (bulldozers, excavators, etc.); desktop-printed games; model cars: passenger car and trucks; model of of our district with markup, traffic signs, transport, traffic lights, small toys, dolls; different albums on these themes, children's drawings; «route plan", which shows a way from home to pre-school; СD, DVD disks; illustrations of dangerous situations in the life of children; family projects, "Road signs", "Rules of using bicycle", "Road traffic regulations, which we follow with our family", etc.


For cooperation with the parents be used the new technical information, audio-visual and nontraditional educational technology tools with the using of ICT:

children were introduced to the project activities of children from other countries learning the culture and language of other countries learning to apply their knowledge in specific situations on the roads enhancing the educational process by ICT increased literacy teaching parents about the safety of children's behavior on the roads.
