When choosing a place to live, Grapevine is one of the top destinations in North Texas. Centrally located between Dallas and Fort Worth, Grapevine provides a sophisticated escape from the big city. Residents can step back in time when strolling in Historic Downtown Grapevine while visiting the more than 80 shops, restaurants, and artisans. Hop aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad or unwind at one of Grapevine’s many wine tasting rooms.

Grapevine provides its residents (and visitors) with a multitude of recreational opportunities, including our 60-mile lake shoreline, 81 holes of world class golf, numerous movie theaters, nearly 50 parks, more than 50 miles of connected hike and bike trails, and many event venues. Look up to capture the Grapevine Glockenspiel’s Would-Be Train Robbers, Nat Barrett and Willy Majors as they battle it out in the clock tower on Main Street at the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau headquarters.

Grapevine’s Historic District is home to the Historic Palace Theatre, the Grapevine Vintage Railroad and so much more. In addition, many buildings throughout Grapevine are listed in the National Register of Historic Places filled with art galleries, gift shops, restaurants, clothing boutiques, antique stores, and an outdoor farmers market.

Demographics show the city’s residents have high median incomes and education levels. It also has a stable political climate and low crime rates. Grapevine remains one of the most dynamic communities in the region, with an estimated population of 53,990 in 2018 and a current estimated daytime population of approximately 110,000.

Grapevine has a number of notable projects, either planned or developed that add to its abundant quality of life, including (TEXRail) commuter rail, Grapevine Main, The Vin Hotel, Paycom, Mercedes-Benz USA, and is home to Kubota North American Headquarters. Grapevine’s low tax rate and high quality of life continue to make it a world class community.
