I believe in giving back to the community and that’s the reason I joined Grapevine Chamber so that I can help and give back to the community and to serve the community. I like being an Ambassador so that I can meet new people and new business and welcome them to the community and help them with the resources we have that will help grow their business. I have served on the board of directors for Irving Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Irving Chamber of Commerce. I am an active member of Gateway Church with my family. I am married to my beautiful wife and have a 10 yr. old daughter and we like to travel and have fun. I am also a musician and have a home recording studio and can play up to eight instruments and do recordings. I also enjoy riding motorcycles for fun. I believe confidence and hard work

is the best medicine to kill the disease called failure. It will make you a successful person. Southside Bank was established in Tyler, TX in 1960 with $350,000 in capital and ten employees. The Bank has grown to over $6.22 billion in assets and operates 59 branches in East, North, Southeast and Central Texas and employs more than 800 people. Women’s Division: Students Need You Happy August! Since 1965, the Women’s Division of the Grapevine Chamber has focused on fostering the spirit of charitable giving and economic development among the Grapevine area. We aim to enable everyone to contribute to the advancement of the civic, business and educational interest in the community. We are a hardworking group of women that have a commitment to serve the community of Grapevine. Each year we look forward to helping students within GCISD by providing school supplies at the start of each school year. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the 25th Annual Great Taste of Grapevine was canceled. You may not be aware, but this is one of the Women’s Division’s largest fundraisers and proceeds are used to purchase school supplies for disadvantaged students in GCISD. This year we will be providing for over 1400 students in need. We are reaching out to our fellow chamber members for help. We have 2 options for you to choose from: 1.) For a simple $20 donation, you will be providing a student with a pack of school supplies to provide the things that will contribute to their learning whether in person in the classroom or through online learning. 2.) For $25, the first 50 donors can stop by the Chamber office and choose your preferred bottle of wine from a selection of red, white, and sparkling wines. The wine can be picked up from the Chamber of Commerce Office at 200 Vine St. Grapevine, TX 76051. They are open from 9:00 – 5:00 PM Mon – Fri. Please show the receipt to Michael Miori for your purchase.

Thank you for your support that will help our commitment to fund the back to school supplies for over 1,400 GCISD students for the 2020-2021 school year. There are more families that need our help this year!

AMP’T (Advancing Modern Professionals for Tomorrow) is the Grapevine Chamber’s Young Professionals group, designed for Chamber members age 21-39 seeking to advance their careers through networking and professional development. Each year they participate in volunteer opportunities in our community. As a group, AMP’T firmly believes in the importance of investing in future generations and in the leaders of tomorrow. Feed Our Kids is just one of the ways AMP’T can pour back into the community around us. The kids in this program are incredibly fun to hang out with, even if it is just for a short time. During the lunch hour, AMP’T members may have a short conversation with a child as they grab a meal or play a quick game of soccer. It is always such an awesome opportunity for AMP’T volunteers to get out in the hot summer sun and support this amazing program put on by GRACE. AMP’T would like to thank their 2020 Feed Our Kids sponsors, who helped provide over 155 lunches in one day, Independent Financial and Frost. GRACE started this program in 2005 with the mission to provide lunches for area children during the summer weeks when they may otherwise not receive one. Feed Our Kids fills these “hungry” weeks with sack lunches, milk, smiles, and a loving atmosphere. For more information, please visit gracegrapevine.org.
