he 34th edition of the Rolex Middle sea race is just round the corner. This highly rated takes place in the heart of the Mediterranean, starting and finishing in Malta.
It’s 606 nautical route includes waters of Sicily and the Strait of Messina, the islands of Pantelleria and Lampedusa, and even features Stromboli’s active volcano as a course mark. For the past three editions the winner of the race was the team of Esimit Europa 2 from Slovenia. The Rolex Middle Sea Race is a yearly event organised by Malta Royal Yacht Club in collaboration with the Grand Hotel Excelsior.
